Needs fast & easy switch between tethered and non-tethered. Otherwise it's a good design.
I've attached the Procase to my everyday carry's shoulder strap. A speed-grab is vital, e.g. when snapping wildlife, yet it's at such times you're most likely to drop the camera, so thank you Procase! The design's good as is, hence my rating, but improvements could make it the only case worth buying ever.BIG CONS1. The retracting force is fierce. Noticeable in harsh weather when you'd prefer to concentrate on the weather instead of fighting the retracting cord.2. You need to be able to switch between tether and non-tether quickly and easily. Rarely is camera use entirely one or the other. For that it needs an optional connector (clip/carabiner) which can be quickly and easily detached when needed. Detaching it from the orange tether peg each time isn't a good idea because, rightly, that's neither quick nor easy to do thanks to how efficiently the lanyard fixes up inside the orange tether peg. I've rigged mine (albeit inelegantly) so that there's a small lockable carabiner between the cord attached to the retraction tether and the camera lanyard, letting me quickly and easily remove the camera to take photos from a hide or the car passenger seat or from my house or at a party e.g. birds feeding, snow on the hills, sunsets, guests. In social situations people often want to pass cameras around or do a timed group shot.3. Could do with a cord lock activated at the user's option, as with certain T-Reign tether models. That would also help with point 1.BIG PROSA. The retraction cord means my camera can't accidentally fall, which is reassuring, not that it's happened as that's what the wrist strap / neck lanyard that come with cameras are for. Of course, normal care is also required as the tether doesn't stop the camera being knocked or scratched outside the case depending what it falls onto or against e.g. when I'm sitting in a car (or a tree) or if at a party.B. Choice of sizes and colours.C. The velcro is strong, and best of all there's a very reassuring extra velcro loop. If you've a wide carrying strap (or other fixture) you need to attach the Procase to, the loops are wide enough.D. Good build quality, and sturdy.PROS/CONS(a) The Small case is very chunky. Probably fine in larger sizes but in the Small it feels clunky too.(b) The case can be opened one-handed which is very useful but the wedge-shaped toggle could do with being wider and less tapered so as to make it easier to find and grab, especially if wearing gloves.CONS(i) The Small case is advertised as fitting my camera make and model but the case is a tad tight. A case interior of 1cm more would be perfect. (ii) If I didn't still have my camera's original screen protector over the viewfinder screen I'd need to buy one.(iii) The instruction diagram needs to be labelled that it's for installation where there's no built-in lanyard fixture on the camera.(iv) Expensive, but worth it in the long-term. Also I saw it change on this page by as much as 4quid over just a few days.

It ticks all the right boxes
I am constantly taking pictures of my kiddie winks... Trying to capture many memories to hang onto... So I am always carrying my camera.... This case is brilliant! I can chuck it in my bag with all my baby bits.. Which feels like everything but the kitchen sink ..and not have to worry about it getting scratched, squashed, or damaged by leaking drinks bottle. It's a tough case, which shows great build quality and durability. Plus it's waterproof too... Which is brilliant! I love the feature of the retractable clip... As I am always trying quickly to get the camera out to capture these precious moments before I miss them, and I have almost dropped my camera on many occasions. For this reason The retractable clip is a genius feature to counteract this. Its nice there are is a variety in choice of colours too.All in all, it ticks all the right boxes and more when looking for a case.

Buy this case and thank me later.
The cases from T-Reign are made to last. I have purchased the larger version for my bigger camera and now this for my point and shoot. These cases can take a hit like a champ. They have been under the rain, pushed to the limits and still hold without showing any tear. The retractable gear tether still feels like new even though I have used it countless times. I would highly recommend them for anyone who enjoys long trips outdoors or just trips to the park taking photos of your kids and pets. The great thing about them is that they have a retractable tether on the inside which attaches to your camera and holds it into place. However whan you need your camera you can pull it with ease and there is no chance of dropping it no matter what. I have not found any other case with that functionality and trust me it is amazing. Give them a try.

I won't be losing my camera again thanks to this case!
I lost my camera last year which was a pain as I not only lost the device but all the holiday pictures I had on it that I hadn't downloaded yet. so when I got a new one for my birthday this year I was determined to keep it safe and sound. I really like this case as it's sturdy, water resistant and it has this clever device that allows you to connect your camera to the case with a sort of lead. The lead is retractable so I can easily pull the camera in / out of the case without the prospect of dropping it somewhere.

Fantastic, well-made product - keeps my camera safe!
I've always been paranoid about dropping my Panasonic Lumix digital camera when I'm climbing, or even when I'm out on a hike with my boyfriend, but there are so many good shots to take in places like Surrey that I've just had to bring the camera anyway and live with the fear. Buying the Securikey T-REIGN ProCase means I don't have to worry anymore which is awesome. It keeps my camera safely secured onto the tether thingy that comes in and out of the case, and it also protects my camera from rain and bashes - both common occurrences in outdoor sports. I'd recommend this to anyone who is as paranoid as I am about dropping their camera or other belongings!

I bought this because I wanted something that I could ...
I bought this because I wanted something that I could use for multiple uses, mainly to contain my compact camera when I visit various exhibitions and shows. The T-Reign case is just right, not only holding the camera but there is enough space to hold a few more bits 'n' bobs. Unlike a lot of these sorts of things that either offer a soft (hardly protective) case or a hard uncomfortable case this one somehow gives you both. My only criticism would be, it's a little pricey...

It's attached to my belt making it easy to get at
I bought this to go fishing. I had a problem where I kept leaving my phone on a muddy bank and clogging the volume buttons up. Now my phone is retracted into my T-Reign pouch automatically after I use it. It's attached to my belt making it easy to get at. It also protects it from rain and damp. The best thing of all is that I always know where my phone is.
