I spent a lot of time researching frig products, brands and models and settled on this one. It’s basic, but beautiful and keeps things cold and frozen. I haven’t had to purchase a frig in over 20 years so my knees were wobbly. I got it during prime days for more than 1/2 less at big box stores. For, me, it was worth paying the little extra for Amazon’s delivery and set up. I have a small kitchen so this fit perfectly without my having to heighten cabinets, also pretty quiet, occasional pops, low maintenance finish. 90 days and counting! Praying it lasts many (many) years! I added the protection plan just in case. *** 8/1/26 a year later still pleased. No issues.

We recently bought a house and our current fridge in our kitchen has french doors with very narrow shelving. We cook a lot, so our current fridge doesn't have the best set-up for storage. Enter the Kenmore 20.5 cu. ft fridge/freezer. This fridge has been PERFECT for our garage! It has nice wide shelves, they're clear so you can see everything, and because it doesn't have an ice maker or water dispenser, it can store so much more! It's also incredibly quiet, and energy efficient. It was really easy to set-up, and came with additional parts if you want to change the orientation of the door opening (which I did pretty easily). This fridge has been perfect for keeping all of our drinks cool in the summer and is going to be a game-changer come the holidays when we need a place to defrost a turkey or other large cuts of meat!

I do not recomend this fridge and if you still want to buy this fridge, do not buy from Amazon and just get it from your local store instead. - Cons of this fridge, heat elements are on both sides of the fridge instead of back like most fridge. You cannot fit this inside a wall if there are no rooms on the sides to keep it cooled correct. - this fridge has a p trap for the drain and it will keep your door from being able to open after you close the door for at least untill you hear this loud gurgling sound. My issue was, had this fridge delivered with some dents but I didn't mind since it was cosmetic issue and I plan to use in the garage. The problem was after about over a month in, did notice the fridge seem to not keep the temp well. One day I see puddle of water on the floor. Opened the fridge and nothing was cooling, top freezer had defrosted and all the water was leaking from top to bottom. Called Amazon to have it replaced and they told me to call Kenmore to have it serviced since it's past the return period of 30days. I called Kenmore and had the tech come out to fix it and they had to replace the compressor and coils since it was leaking freon. Had to wait again for the parts to arrive. Finally got all the parts and had it replaced. After the tech left, I kept noticing this gurgling sound after I close the door, the sides of the fridge was not to the touch. Called them again to have the tech come out to fix the problem and he said the freon was over charged and the design of the fridge is supposed to be hot on both side of the fridge and the p trap makes it hard to open the door after closing the door. Fine, I can still live with hard to open door and hot sides and loud gurgling sound. The fridge kept not cooling and was sitting at 55F I kept waiting to see if the temp would cool but it takes 2 full days before it would be in the 40F at the coldest setting. Had the tech come out again and they tell me the compressor needs to be replaced again. wtf! I called Kenmore and they are telling me they will keep fixing the problem until it works (I'm fumming from not being able to use this fridge for over a month now) Kenmore states unless the tech says it's not fixable, then they will keep sending out techs to fix the fridge until the warrenty expires so I called Amazon and they are telling me it is past 30day return period so they will not be doing anything about it. I am writing this review out of frustration so buyer beware of what you are buying into! Update as of 08/29/25 after long 4 months of back and forth fixing this fridge, I wasn't able to use this fridge since they keep sending out tech to fix this fridge instead of replacing it. Latest fix was to replace the fan on the top of the freezer. I still don't trust this fridge to work for long.

Never thought I’d buy a refrigerator from Amazon but the whole deal was better than anyone local could provide. The price, even before Prime Days was hundreds lower than even the warehouse prices. Size was just what I needed. I wanted a stainless steel and even those the sides aren’t stainless, it looks great. Looks great and works great. On top of that, I paid the extra $50 for them to install it and take out my old one. Two guys who came were professional and nice. No one I checked would do it for that price. All in, it was the best price and service by far! I prefer buying local but I saved over $300 by doing it this way. With prices so high on some things, it pays to shop around and this time Amazon did it right.

Arrived timely and well crated. 2 guys delivered and set it up and explained everything..it's pretty simple it's attractive black, roomy inside including freezer. My only complaint: no light in the freezer

Exactly what I needed!!!

For the price, this refrigerator seems like a great deal so far. I was tired of refrigerators with all the extra features which invariably break down and cause repeated problems. This one is spacious and very quiet. Unfortunately, on unwrapping the packaging INSIDE the box, one of the upper corners is dented.

This refrigerator is a very basic refrigerator, which is what I wanted. I don’t like all the gadgets of the newer refrigerators because they have a tendency to short or break and are expensive to repair or fix. This is my second one in 10 years. The first one I ordered lasted a long time between 5 kids and I, by the end of its departure the rubber would not stay sealed around the door. I replaced it once and this time it was needing replaced again, the light quit working and it wasn’t staying as cold, but it was very old. It lasted a long time. I had to get another one just like it because I have a older home with a very difficult refrigerator size so this is the only refrigerator that fits in that space perfectly so there was no other option but it’s an excellent fridge overall.
