Impressive Battery Life and Solid Performance
I’ve been using the Tracki Pro GPS Tracker for three weeks, and I’m thoroughly impressed with its performance, especially regarding battery life. The device itself feels solid and well-built, with a large built-in battery—there’s no need for external cases or add-ons, which is a huge plus. The magnet is strong enough for my needs, and I’ve had no issues placing it inside my vehicle. Where I have chosen to install the device, it doesn’t have a direct line of sight to the satellites, but it has been using cellular and Wi-Fi for location, and it’s been working adequately for my needs.Battery life has been the real standout feature for me. I’ve experimented with different tracking intervals, ranging from every minute to every hour, and the results have been fantastic. The best part is the mode that stops tracking when the device isn’t moving—this has made a noticeable difference in conserving battery life.To give you an idea, over a 17-day span, and after a mix of one-minute and one-hour tracking intervals, the battery was only down to 62%. That’s with a significant amount of time spent at the one-minute interval! The app makes it super easy to switch between tracking modes, which I appreciate. The Tracki Pro is a reliable, well-designed device that meets my needs. I highly recommend it!

AMAZING BATTERY LIFE AND HIGHLY ACCURATE
Battery update: It has now been over 1 month since I started using the Tracki Pro device and the battery is at 57%. I haven't had to charge it once since I have had it. How's that for great battery juice. Amazing!!Update: I was having a problem with location history, put in a call to customer support and they were able to fix my problem by telling me that I needed to download the Tracki One app. I had previously downloaded the Tracki Pro app, as that's the one it said to download, but apparently they had an update so now with the Tracki One app on my phone, all functions are working including the location history, which I didn't even realize wasn't working on the other app untill I went to check my location history this week and was unable to. So I uninstalled the older app, and installed the Tracki One app, entered the same credentials I used in the Tracki Pro app, and location history was immediately available.Glad I reached out to support. They were excellent by the way.Wow!!! Just Wow!! I'm super impressed with this Tracki Pro GPS device. I read up on many reviews before I decided to make this purchase. Now I see why there are so many positive reviews on this device. This thing is amazing.Ok, let's start with the size . This Tracki Pro GPS device is small enough to fit in my hand, but not "air tag" small. Just the right size that it can be discreetly placed under my vehicle in a secure location. It is about the size of, hmm, thinking....welI , the best way to describe the size is to compare it to the size of 3 inch thick black box similar to the size of certain laptop power cord boxes, or like the size of my electric scooters charger battery pack/box. I read all the instructions very closely before I chose the location to secure it under my vehicle. To keep it away from my exhaust pipe and away from the hot engine, I located the perfect spot under my driver's side rear passenger door. I didn't have to go to far under the car (thank goodness because my car is extremely low profile) and I found a perfect spot where there's solid metal to secure the magnet. I admit that initially I was a little skeptical about the strength and durability of the magnet. My skepticism was completely unwarranted. When they say that this magnet is strong and won't fall off, they weren't kidding. I've lost a few tracking devices in the past due to them falling off the vehicle and I was worried this might happen with this one. Nope. This baby has a super strong magnet that affixes to any metal surface and I can go over speed bumps, potholes, etc, and she doesn't budge. When I first received it, I charged it completely to 100% , as instructed, and I downloaded the app that is required for use of this device. The Tracki Pro app, didn't have the greatest reviews so once again I had concerns about that, and once again, my concerns were put to rest fairly quickly. The extremely affordable price of the Tracki Pro GPS device is such an amazing value, that I couldn't believe something under $25 would work so great, but it does.Ok, received the Tracki Pro, Charged it fully, download the app, and chose the subscription I wanted. Yes, you MUST PURCHASE a subscription through their app so that you can actually track the device, in real time. I can't remember what all the choices were, but I chose the basic $19.99 a month subscription. It is more than I want to pay, but considering other devices and subscriptions I compared this too can cost much more, I can live with $20 a month for peace of mind and security. After I downloaded the app, purchased my subscription, scanned the code on the Tracki, I was set. So I wanted to give this a trial run and test it out so I hopped in my car with my phone and drove around for a bit, with my phone securely mounted on my dash and my Tracki Pro GPS app up and visible, I had a clear view of the map, and could see in real time how accurate it is. Oh, I forgot to mention that after you download the app and purchase your subscription, you go to the settings in the app and set up your preferred settings. Again, can't remember all the setting choice's available but I set mine to update every 2 minutes. I think the options are 1 min- 24 hours, and maybe more. I'm not positive on that but I wanted mine as close to "real time" as possible but I didn't choose the "1 min" updates because I figured it would drain the battery faster. Ok, silly , I know. 1 min, 2 minutes? Not much difference but I just chose 2 minute updates and I'm comfortable with that setting. So you can choose whatever setting you want for how often you want it to update it's location. I figured that if the updating every 2 mins drained the battery too quickly, I could always change it.So I'm driving around and watching the map on my Tracki Pro app and it was spot on accurate. There's occasion where you may hit a bad cell /wifi area , but I've rarely run into that problem. One important thing to know about the device - if your vehicle, or whatever your chosen subject is to attach the device to, is stationary for 2 hours or more, then the device will go to sleep to help save on battery drain, and once the vehicle is in motion again, the device automatically wakes up and starts tracking again.I placed this Tracki Pro GPS device on my car 2 weeks ago, and Ive got it set to update every 2 minutes. You would think that the battery would have required recharging by now. Nope. 2 weeks, updating every 2 mins (less the time the vehicle is not in motion) and my battery is currently at 88%. That's impressive. At that rate, I probably won't need to go retrieve it from under my vehicle for a couple of months. Now of course the battery drainage will heavily depend on your chosen app settings and how often the vehicle is in motion. But after 2 weeks and my battery is only down by 12%, I say that is pretty great. The device is waterproof too so if you run through rain puddles, no worries. It's safe. Now, I Drive a Mercedes and of course Ike many cars on the road today, my Mercedes has its own built in gps computer chip, but that's not acceptable to me. Only to proper authorities, I'm assuming, but I certainly can't track my vehicle simply from the factory gps Chip. Why do I need to track my own vehicle? Excellent question.Well, first obvious answer is it's a Mercedes!! Not even a new one, as my car is 10 years old. But she's my baby and I keep her in pristine condition. It's paid for, and it's still considered low mileage for my year. The reason I wanted to be able to track my vehicle is because once in a while, I will "allow" my husband to drive it. He is in the sub contracting business and he drives a work truck, loaded down with a ton of tools, sharp tools, dangerous tools, and he's not the "neatest" most organized person either. So on the rare occasion where I may need him to pick up our daughter from school, or if he wants to take our daughter out to the trampoline park or movies, etc, I don't want her riding in his vehicle around all those heavy tools and equipment. So, for my daughters safety, I'll let him use my car when she's with him. Unfortunately, there have been times where he has had his truck in the shop or has let his business partner use it and has needed to "borrow" my car. He loves to frequent a certain establishment locally where they simulcast live horse racing. I'm not a fan, I assure you. But I know how much he loves going there and unfortunately he tends to lose track of time when he's there, so if he tells me he'll be back by a certain time and he's not, and I need my car , well then I can easily pull up my app, locate my car, call him and say "Hun, where are you". You said you'd be home x hours ago and I need to go to the store ". Hubby: " I just left the track, I'm sorry I lost track of time, but I'm on my way home now ".Hmm, welly trusty little Tracki Pro GPS tells me differently. Little stinker. When I tell him I know he's not even left there yet, he starts fast talking...." I mean I'm Leaving right now, I promise ". Uh huh.So , you gotta be careful and know the laws in your State. I'm in Florida and it's illegal to place a tracking devices on ", another person's vehicle without their consent ". But Ive got this Tracki Pro GPS on my vehicle so I am well within my rights and not breaking any laws. I just thought I'd mention that because I think it's different depending on where you live. I could be wrong and it could be illegal anywhere to place it on someone else's vehicle, so always check with your local laws first. But if on your own vehicle, then it's perfectly fine. So, with that being said, did I tell him I put this under my car? Nope! It's my car. I don't need to tell him. 😁Ok, connectivity - It's been raining a lot the last month in Florida and even with all the rain and afternoon thunderstorms, I've not once had any connectivity issues. I pull up my app and tap the little "update" tab in the upper right corner of the screen, and my vehicle is right there on the map with my location. Now it's not always 100% completely accurate. For example, say that I live on 555 Main Street (Not my address , just using it for demonstrative purposes) The Tracki Pro may show my vehicle is at Main Street, between 550-555. So pretty accurate, but sometimes it won't always give you the exact address. But it's going to be within a few hundred feet, so I'd say that's pretty accurate. The app: User interface is easy to use and read, you can choose between 4 different map settings, ie, dark, light, satellite and I can't remember but there is a 4th one too.For longer battery life, you can toggle between off/on on certain settings. For example I only keep the "Tracki on the move" setting toggled to "on" at all time's and I keep the "Battery low alert/notification setting to " on" at all time's. There are other options you can choose from to toggle on or off, like you can turn on an " audible beep" alert that when you tap the option in the app to " locate device " in case you lose it or say it did somehow manage to fall off of the object or vehicle you have it on, then you can send a beep alert to it to help locate it easier or faster, I'm assuming. I don't know why else one would want to" beep" it. But anyway you can also turn on " SOS* alert , along with a few other notifications.I'm only keeping the ones on that I need like when the device is in motion, and when the battery level gets low so I know I need to go get it from my car and charge it.But I'm thoroughly impressed with this device so far and how strong the magnet is, and how long the battery lasts on it. Only 12% used in 2 weeks. If you don't mind a minimum $20 monthly subscription fee, then you will definitely love this Tracki Pro. You don't need to be tech savvy to use it. I'm a woman and I had this thing set up, installed and up and working in minutes. No location needs to be turned on a phone in order to track whatever you affix this too. That's the beauty of it. If you have teenagers that drive and have smartphones and you normally can keep track of them via one of the more "popular" apps, you know the one wit"360" in the name - well if they try to outsmart mom or dad by turning off their phone location and they are driving mom or Dad's vehicle equipped with this powerful and accurate Tracki Pro GPS, then you've outsmarted them.I think it's obvious that I would highly recommend this Tracki Pro GPS. Compatible with anything that a magnet can stick too. I tugged on the device several times pretty good when I first put it on my car, and it didn't budge. Two weeks, still in place and still has lots of battery juice remaining. When you do need to remove it and bring it in to charge, there's an included USB charging cable for that.
