Works Well, Design could be better...
Have this working with office phone, Skype and iPhone... Great headset, calls are very clear...great battery life... I talk on and off all day... Never had to recharge during the day... My only gripe is the ear loop... This could be made more comfy.... My ear hurts after usage...the loops a little sharp... May look good, but needs to be more like the CS60

Comfort is also poor. Last time I am buying Platnronics
This product performs very badly and is not worth the money. Look elsewhere. The audio volume is incredibly faint - I would compare it to the lowest volume on a wired headphone set on an iphone - that is the comparable volume. Comfort is also poor. Last time I am buying Platnronics. Look elsewhere.

A good communication hub
I have been using this product for four months now. Having used a few other headsets before, I found the headphone to be much quieter than the other comparable products. The ear hook did not work well for me as it was a struggle hearing the other side. Having switched to the over-the-head band, the volume has become better and I have been using the band since.Pros:* Multiple connectivity options* Very good range* Able to switch calls between mobile and Lync/Skype* Good battery life* Good at cancelling out surrounding noiseCons:* Volume could be better (did try to increase it from the side of the dock but still no luck)* The ear hook and the in-ear plugs are not the best designs; doesn't fit well in the ear.

Perfect
I upgraded to the W740 from a CS530 for the additional device connection. Works seamlessly whilst paired to my desk phone and mobile. Ensure you have the correct cables for your desk phone and you will have no problems setting up at all.

Doesn't *** actually *** support DECT
Errr, you see that it says quite clearly that it works with DECT? Are you expecting that it might pair with your DECT system and you could take/make calls over that? From Wikipedia: "The DECT standard fully specifies a means for a portable unit, such as a cordless telephone, to access a fixed telecoms network via radio." Well you would be wrong, and you'll only find out when you look for the DECT feature. I'll save you some time - there isn't one. Just download the manual and search for DECT - you won't find a single mention. In the Plantronics marketing department, 'DECT support' means that you could connect it to a * cabled * phone system if you wanted to. As far as I can figure out, it means something to do with * security * to them. Maybe they mean the headset * talks to their own base-station using some form of DECT *. But be aware, it certainly wont connect to your DECT system ...

Amazing microphone quality
I use this primarily for dictation to Dragon naturally speaking which it is excellent for – I have a Geordie accent with a slur in my voice so I need the most accurate microphone possible, this does the job very well.
