ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III 360 A-RGB - Water Cooling PC, Fan: 200-1800 RPM

As other reviewers have said, installing the pump over your CPU is a bit tricky because the screws take a few turns before they catch and you need to alternate between them to ensure even pressure over your chip. My advice is to place the case down on a firm, static free surface and have a friend/assistant/unpaid intern hold the radiator up while you install the pump. It made the process easier for me. Once installed, it works wonderfully! I have mine installed under the top of my Antec Flux case in exhaust mode, cooling my Ryzen 7800X3D. It runs very quiet under most general loads, and under heavy loads (such as when I play Cyberpunk 2077 at 2k ultra settings) it is still not that loud compared to air-cooled fans I've had in the past. Not having an LCD screen on the pump to me is a plus. Those screens seem gimmicky. Just give me simple RGB and I'm happy. Speaking of, the cabling is integrated from the radiator fans to the pump and makes it easy to install on a single header if you prefer. I used the three-header cables as I prefer more nuanced control over my fans and that was still easy to do. The cables and the water lines are long and capable of reaching even in big ATX cases. 10/10 would recommend.

I had replaced my previous fan because it didn't seem to be able to my CPU cool enough. The install on this was pretty straightforward albeit a pain because I had to work around some preexisting cords and things from my initial build. The sound you hear in video is actually the fish tank behind me. This cooler is so quiet. There's a low hum but not loud. My previous fan was Deep Cool and it was LOUD when it had to keep up with multiple processes. My PC seems much more responsive now as well. It's a great buy for the cost and quality, and my PC looks beautiful 😍. The RGB from the CPU and my fans are not synced but the color variation is so bright and visually pleasing. The one con is that it didn't come with an Intel mount but luckily, I had a spare since I just replaced another CPU's cooler with an Arctic (smaller PC build) and that was an AMD CPU.

Honestly only complaint I have is instillation is a little tricky but, I’m the kind that build it and forget it unless I need to remove cooler to replace thermal paste. Other then that this is truly beautiful AIO. The white is very clean and rgb adds a nice look to it. I don’t particularly notice fan noises with my case so I used the single connector and Artic recommended performance curve using Fan Control. With those settings I honestly don’t hear it running. It’s top mounted in my NZXT H7 (old version) and doesn’t look like it’s out of place due to the thickness and physically fits perfect. These fans are very solid as well. I looked at replacing them but really don’t see a need to. Idle temps stay around 30-40c and the cooler is strong enough to prevent thermal throttling on my 14700k. I personally was not looking for a screen to have on my aio and wanted something I could control a static color easily with OpenRGB. Strongly recommend it and hope this review helps.

Great overall AIO but a few things to keep in mind. 1. If your wanting to change fans, it is a little bit of a pain but very much possible. Have a place to tuck away the extra cables that are permanently attached. 2. Tubes are pretty stiff and dont move much. But they move enough to leave room for everything else. 3. The mount is a little weird and isn't labeled properly, but once you figure it out and get it on the cpu it works great. 4. Thermal paste is pretty thick and will need a card or spreader to spread it(if thats what you want to do) All in all, this is a great AIO, it keeps my cpu cool and dont overheat. And this was my first pc build so some of the struggles I listed could be my mistake and own struggle. But I highly recommend this AIO for anyone.

It seems a little unorthodox the way it mounts considering it doesn't cover the entire CPU. I don't think there is a better air cooler out there. The fans are medium quality. They are not high-end, but for $36.00 USD you can't beat it. The only thing I would do differently is put rubber pads on both sides of the fans.

I've had nothing but problems with this cooler since I got it. Including rgb flickering or not working, high temps and mobo unable to detect pump speeds. Will run ok as long as I only play gpu heavy games, but pc will thermal lock if I have to compile shader caches.

Alright, so let me tell you, you're going to be very pleased with this cooler. The setup process? Yes, you do need to pay a bit of attention initially, but honestly, it's quite straightforward once you begin. The temperatures are truly impressive. My CPU consistently stays below 80°C now. If you are considering a high-performance cooler - especially if you're a heavy gamer or similar user - seriously, I'd recommend picking this one up. And get this, it performs exceptionally well even without utilizing the stock fans, which is quite remarkable. A quick note about my testing environment: For transparency, I conducted my testing in my bedroom, which generally maintains a cool ambient temperature, around 65-67°F. Therefore, please be aware that your temperature results may vary depending on your room's conditions.

Die Liquid Freezer I + II waren schon die besten AIO Wasserkühlungen auf dem Markt und der Liquid Freezer III setzt noch eins drauf. Alle Tests zeigen das der Kühler absolut unter den Leistungs-Besten ist und in Relation zur Lautstärke ist er einsame Spitze! Auch die Montage ist im Wesentlichen unkompliziert. Sehr angenehm ist, das der Kühler samt allen Lüftern auf dem Radiator bereits vorkonfektioniert ist. Das erleichert die Montage erheblich. Die Pumpeneinheit ist zweigeteilt mit einem per Magnet aufsetzbaren zusätzlichen, A-RGB beleuchtetem VRM Lüfter. Das kühlt effektiv die Spannungswandler auf dem Board und bietet meines Wissens kein anderes System. Und très chic ist die A-RGB LED-Pumpe auch noch. Lediglich die eigentliche Montage der Pumpeneinheit auf der CPU ist mit der großen Blattfeder etwas fummelig. Das macht man besser zu zweit. Schön ist auch das die neuste MX-6 Wärmeleitpaste beiliegt. EIne sehr gute Verbesserung zur Vorversion LF II ist auch die alternative Kabeloption für die Lüfter- und A-RGB-Steuerung. Option 1 fasst komfortabel die Steuerung aller 4 Lüfter und der Pumpe mit einem einzigen 4-Pol Lüfter-Stecker zusammen. Option 2 erlaubt Kontroll-Freaks die getrennte Steuerung der Pumpe, des VRM-Lüfters und der 3 Radiator-Lüfter. Sicher eher was für die toatalen Silent- oder Performance-Fanatiker. Bei mir macht die all-in-one Steuerung einen sehr guten Job. Selbst unter Last aus 30cm arktisch kalt und unhörbar. Zu beachten ist aber die Dicke des Radiators von 38mm plus Lüfter! Hier muß man aufpassen ob der Gehäusedeckel genügend Raum bietet. Im eigentlich sehr großen "be quiet! Shadow Base 800" in Verbindung mit einem ATX-Board mit großen VRM Kühlkürpern werden die 14cm-Lüfter Varianten 280 und 420 evtl nicht passen, da geht dann nur 240 oder 360, was aber dicke ausreicht um selbst die Abwärme von Monster-Intel-CPUs mit >250Watt TDP abzutransportieren ohne Radau zu machen. Auch die Dauerhaltbarkeit von Arctic ist über alle Zweifel erhaben. Bei mir tuen in zwei älteren Rechnern noch ein Liquid Freezer I seit ca. 7 Jahren und ein LF II seit ca. 4 Jahren ohne irgendwelche Probleme ihren Dienst. Und das alles zum halben Preis gegenüber den wenigen Modellen, die leistungsseitig überhaupt mithalten können (und dabei alle deutlich lauter sind). Fazit: Wieder DER Top AIO-Wasserkühler zum Bestpreis - EXTREM GUT !!!! PS. Auch wenn diese Lobeshymne jetzt klingt als wäre das eine gekaufte Rezession, dem ist nicht so! Arctic hat das nicht nötig und ich nehme an dafür gibt Arctic ohnehin kein Geld aus. Ich zahle meine Liquid Freezer alle brav selbst und bin mit der Firma weder verwandt noch verschwägert ;-) Aber ich freue mich einfach wenn es heute noch so hochwertige Produkte zu so fairen Preisen engineered in Germany gibt und gebe daher gerne und aus vollster Überzeugung diese Rezession ab. :-)
