52mm Water Temperature Gauge with 1/8 NPT Sensor with Alarm

Sensor fit in the thermostat bleeder screw side for my Camaro with heavy duty thread tape. High temp alarm works great and it was easy to install. I like the dial gauge and digital gauge in one. Over the summer I was able to know how hot my engine was and when I needed to add water. I have a special process for cooling my vehicle and this helped me get through a really hot day of driving and make it home safely because I could read the temp value and know if anything was abnormal. I don't like the stock style analog guages and for the price, quality and look this was a great upgrade. The display is awesome and I will definitely buy another when I need it. It comes with a bracket and there is 2 peg screws on the back. The connector to sensor wire is fragile so I just electrical taped it as I pulled it through the firewall and taped the wire to the connector so it couldn't get tugged out of the pins in the future.

This really works great temperature reading is accurate the light is bright very easy to see even has a warning temperature I love it I would buy another one doesn't cost that much and it fits into the pot that I bought for the a pillar great

A little skeptical at first but man glad i pulled the trigger. By far has been a great gauge, reads within 1 degree of my temp via scan tool. Fans kick on exactly when there supposed to as the temp matches the gauge on when they are supposed to come out. Long story short, dont hesitate and grab one!

Just installed it and it's reading way above my new installed stat . Can't return it because I had to cut radiator hose to install it.

I was a bit skeptical ordering this kit as it seemed too good to be true, but I went all in on it. I installed this kit on my 06 Scion xA since it did not have a temp gauge on the dash. Here is the good, the bad, and the ugly. THE GOOD - Great price compared to other options that only include the sensor and gauge. - Quality of materials seems above average. The plastic housing for the gauge doesn't have any ugly molding marks, and the base of it is made out of metal. - Surprisingly, the sensor is very, VERY accurate. I compared it to the OBDII readings, and they are within +- 2 degrees F. It even reads temperatures below 100F, which some comparable sensors do not show. - Adequate wiring length, at least with my car, and it was relatively simple to install. - LED lights on the gauge are very bright, and I do appreciate the digital numbers rather than reading from a needle. Makes it very easy to read while driving. - The included alarm is a prime feature that other similarly priced gauges do not include. The alarm speaker is very loud, so you will not miss when your car is overheating. THE BAD - At a very low price, I am having doubts on how long the sensor and the gauge will last. Will have to see in the future. This will no doubt introduce another point of failure in your car's cooling system. - The adhesives included do not work at all. It's not the only product that I have bought from Amazon that included cheap adhesives, so it was expected. I would recommend getting some emblem adhesive tape if you don't want to drill holes in your dash. THE UGLY - The mounting mechanism for the gauge is not intuitive at all. There are no instructions on how to properly mount the gauge with the provided holder. The gauge comes with a metal bracket that is screwed on, but trying to place the gauge into the mount prevents it from entering. Removing this bracket will make the gauge loose in the mount. I made a temporary fix and just applied the included adhesives onto the inner sides of the gauge, and it was enough to hold it in place. Note to seller, please improve or include clear instructions for mounting, one star was removed because of this issue. Overall, I do recommend getting this for your car if it doesn't have a temperature gauge, and you don't want to spend a pretty penny on frankly overpriced gauges. This one works great, but only time will tell about its durability.

This is actually a really decent coolant gauge. The only complaint I have is it beeps when first powering on. I’m actually liking this gauge way more than a regular gauge with a needle since at a quick glance you see the actual temp. You don’t wire it up like a normal gauge so don’t connect it your dash lights. It connects to key on power and isn’t dimmable but that’s not a problem because it’s not excessively bright at night. I got the red numbers and it is clearly visible during the day. You will need to get an adapter if you don’t have a 1/8” npt port on your vehicle. My truck had a 1/2” npt port.

A ten out of ten for me I have always have a over heating problem with my 2007 Toyota Yaris from I perched this it helps me so much

I really like the gauge but it is hard to see in the sunlight. Not good for a boat...

Muy buen producto, facil instalación. La medición me pareció exacta ya que en el vehículo que lo instale le accionamos los abanicos en 181 grados farenheit (83°C) y verificamos que midiera exactamente. Lo recomiendo bastante

So far so good, gauge works as it should and expected. The alarm is quite loud as well, very surprised but glad as then I can hear and notice it on my quad when riding with a loud exhaust

Esta muy bien hecho el producto pero no me gusto que viene en farenheit. No lo puedo cambiar a grados celsius . Estaria perfecto que tuviera modo para .cambiar
