Installer Advice - Unsure if this cable is Certified. Missing QR code.
I had a customer order this cable for an install. I decided to give it a try because the title said that the cable was certified. However, this cable comes in a plain bag without the QR code to verify the certification status. It worked fine, but I'm not convinced that it is what it claims to be without the QR code proof. As a professional in the technology industry, I give this advice about HDMI cables.1. Donโt use the cable that came with the device. They are often HDMI 1.4 and of low quality.2. HDMI 2.1 cables only. They are the most capable and will future proof your setup for years to come.3. Use the shortest HDMI cable you can get away with. The longer the cable, the more chance you have of signal noise.I go with one of two aftermarket cables depending on the situation.Low to mid range configurations:For basic TV streaming, BluRay players, or lower resolution gaming consoles like the Nintendo Switch, I think a cable like this Cable Matters cable will work just fine. The price is right and these types of configurations don't require a lot of demand. This level of cable can occasionally have issues with 4k 10-bit at 60hz (Xbox One X, PS5) and HDR10 encoding in movies. HDR10+ or Dolby Digital have never worked for me with the these basic cables.High end configurations:Fusion8k is my reliable, go-to cable for high end since the latest video sources and TVs support HDR10+ and Dolby Digital. They've also been perfect to meet the demands of the latest gaming consoles like the PS5. Fusion8K are worth it for me where I invest the most in quality devices so that I don't have to waste time in troubleshooting issues.UPDATE:I've been struggling with some of the plastic molded connectors over long lengths with DolbyAtmos lately. Longer version of this cable could have the same problem. I'll leave my original rating since I reviewed it as a budget cable based on cost and construction, but I'll be sticking with upper end like the Fusion8K cables I mentioned in my original review due to its heavy duty construction and certification for longer cables.

Better cable, highly recommend
This cable after hookup and my display shows more resolution options than before. I was shocked, actually cable makes difference. No more sudden blackout or flash. Easy plug in. Length about right. Totally satisfied.

Legit certified HDMI cable that is a beast!
This is an absolute legit certified HDMI cable. I kept the length as short as I could for my run to my 4K projector and it has worked flawlessly for me so far.Quick hot button things Iโve checked with this cable:I did a speed test on my Denon x3700h and the cable came back 48gbps.Tested 4K@120hz on PS5, PC, zero issuesTested 4K@24hz, 30hz, 60hz, zero issuesTested 4K@24hz, 60hz Dolby Vision/HDR10 zero issuesTested on an RTX 3060, 4K@120hz HDR, zero issuesI currently have it connected to my 4K projector running 4K@24hz Dolby Vision which runs to the monitor 2 port in my Denon x3700h, zero issues. These tests were done over the course of nearly seven months. The only issues I have encountered were determined to be caused by well-known handshake issues of my Denon, but I digress. This cable is awesome, the shipping was fast, and it arrived in perfect condition. I could not be happier with it.

Works for 4k 120 Hz HDR gaming, but very thick and stiff
The cable worked well to output 4k 120 Hz HDR from my gaming PC to my OLED TV. Itโs HDMI 2.1 certified with the QR code, and performs to spec as advertised. But it is very thick and stiff, about as thick as my pinky finger. I initially had it plugged into an HDMI switcher and it was so stiff that it caused the lightweight switcher to point up into the air. The thickness is to be expected for a 20 foot HDMI 2.1 cable, but I had concerns about the strain it could put on my HDMI inputs so Iโve decided to use a thinner fiber optic cable instead.

Perfect main out to TV 4k@120
Used to run from an 8k switcher for AppleTV, and some video game systems to a 4k 120hz tv. All functions work out of the box, including sound and power control, full speed full res. Apparently the 8k setup is required for 4k@120 which is what I needed and the 4k cables only support 60hz. Picture quality is excellent.Cable is a bit thick and stiff which was a major plus as I lost hold of the pull string and could actually push the cable through the tube! Solid connectors hold well with no wobble, no spotty connectivity at all.

Stopped working after 1 year
I had this cable connected up to a desktop computer for a year before using it for something else for a few weeks. When I went to hook it back up it wouldn't work. I tried different ports just in case and no luck. The cable is very stiff and I'm not sure if that put strain on the ends and caused something to break, but a cable should be more durable than this.
