Great for weighing something down
Needed weight to hold Christmas decoration down in outdoor display. Filled with marbles so it wouldn’t retain moisture and it worked great. Would recommend

Works great.
I love that the black cover doesn't fade in the sunlight.

Stable, durable, holds a lot of beans
When I first unpacked these and looked up the expected capacity in pounds of beans, my first thought was that there was no way that amount was going to fit. However, I found the advertised amount to be correct; I used pinto beans, which are quite bulky, and it fit 15 pounds, just a pound less than the 16 pound estimate. I'm confident that with a smaller bean, 16 would indeed have fit. The mini is a great size for microphone stands, providing excellent stability. The product seems to be very well made and constructed of durable materials.

Holds down stand during normal wind
Looks great and easy to fill. Make sure to buy the correct size for your wind conditions.Have this for over a year and the black color is starting to fade. We will see how long this lasts but happy to this point.

Quality is suspect.
The design quality is flawed. Opening and collapsing can be a challenge. It is difficult to extend fully because of a tight spring and if you use a little muscle, the bottom plate will come out from the base. It should be fused together so this wouldn't happen. Also it sticks and won't collapse for unknown reasons. (I'm not an engineer)It handles weight well. Mine is not really portable because its stuck in the open position. (Not fully)You get what you pay for, so there are probably better quality options.
