I will say I havent used it much for its individual burners. I think my electric stovetop burners are still superior on that front. As soon as I got it I put a larger-sized pot of water (6inch diameter) over one burner on P9 (the highest individual setting) and it wouldnt boil after 30 minutes... my stovetop boiled the same pot from cold in 15. So. Take that as you will. But the griddle function is where this thing shines Imo- I think the individual burners are nice to have maybe if youre cooking something really small. I might be coming down too hard on the individual burner function, again, I really dont use them. The griddle and unit are also super easy to clean. It heats up fast and there is enough room to cook my son's meat and eggs on the flat grill; until I get a new gas stove. I cook the my meat first on C5 setting, dump off the grease, wipe it off with a paper towel, then cook six eggs at C4 setting. Around 25 minutes it's all done. I like the timer setting when I cook the meat. Plus the regular burners below the flat grill heat up fast, if you want to put a pan or pot. (I recommend it). Just make sure you get oven mitts that are thick enough and cover your wrists for protection.
