Good price and great quality. I have others that are a lot thinner and do not feel as strong as these ones.

I first used one of these gear ties as a frame to hold a poncho I'd clipped to my tent when I was making an awning to divert rainwater away from a leaky front door zipper and my Nite Ize gear tie did the trick. I'd used binder clips to attach a poncho to the tent fly. I attached the gear tie to the binder clip and braced it with a couple more binder clips to help it hold the poncho out away from the tent. It worked quite well. Other things I've used them for include holding the frame for my shower curtain together, as a lantern hanger attached to a loop up high, and to connect a broken tent pole to its tent stake (it worked for the whole three-week trip and the connection held tight through a couple of fierce wind storms). If you're handy and creative, consider adding various lengths of these gear ties to your tool kit. Once you figure out what they can do, they will make your life easier in many ways.

Love these! Wish I had got some of these years ago. I use them all over the home as well as trips away. From organising the lawn mower write to attaching things to the pram. These are awesome.
