I search amazon for a few weeks looking through multiple different brands and offerings.I bought this bed for the reason some people are saying it is firm.Set up was easy, it says wait 72 hours (3days) I left if for a bit over 48 hours slept on it one night and slept on the other side the next night.I recommend waiting the full 72 hours.It's very firm, but soft you won't be sinking into this one like some of the others, advantage is it is hybrid and has some give in the individual wrapped spring system.It's thick 14 exact, so it will sit higher then your average bed. I don't mind this fact.No noise in the beds movements. And it seems to offer some movement isolation.I've had this bed almost 2 weeks and I've slept pretty darn good. I've had some sacroiliac pain in my hip, I wake up in less pain with this bed then I did my previous one.

I was so nervous to buy a mattress without feeling it first. I was relieved that it was not only firm (just enough, not uncomfortable) and cozy to settle right in. There was no smell of chemicals, it rose to the correct size almost immediately. No negatives that I can think of. We also have one of those small padded mattress covers that provides just a little bit of softness for full transparency. If it doesn’t totally meet your expectation, you could add on of those as well. 5/5

Here's my Bed Story..Very comfortable matress at a decent price right out of the box,Support and firmness is a ok,With the 3inch topper on top makes it just that much more comfortable.Thanks Bed Story for making affordable quality mattresses. No more body aches at night wake up feeling so refreshed and not hot while sleeping. Easy set up pretty self explanatory. Would Highly recommend this Mattress,You can't go wrong!!

Have had the bed for a couple months now, and I must say that I was really surprised. It's super comfortable yet still has support.

I scrolled through so many beds and reviews and picked this one. I just got it and set up was so simple. It's medium plush, so it's extremely comfortable, not too soft and not hard like a board. If you're thinking about a bed in a box, this is absolutely no different than the big-name mattresses, except you don't see those shipped in the box the way you do these. I had my last one for 8 years, and I'm sure this one will last even longer. Great bed!! Super fast shipping also!!

I was apprehensive when I saw tape and damage to the box...no damage to the mattress. It is heavy...I am waiting one more day for it to expand. Looks great...feels comfy...and for half the price that my local supplier quoted. I am happy already

Really excellent quality mattress. A lot of cushion but not losing necessary firmness. Super comfortable and very durable. Highly recommended.

Purchased for guest bedroom and not used as yet; however, appears to be all that has been described in marketing info. Extremely comfortable with initial testing. Edges firm and do not collapse with sitting. ALERT: As expected, very heavy and cumbersome to handle, much strength required to unpack. I am a woman and, though strong, was totally unable to maneuver. One strong male able to manage, though am thinking two would have been ideal.Very satisfied at this point. Would purchase again.
