Old Spice gel antiperspirants have been difficult to come by in the UK. Many that are seen online are imported so tend to come at a higher price than the more readily available Gillette brand ones.I managed to get hold of several of these Old Spice Captain antiperspirants at a reasonable price and am pleased with the quality and lasting antiperspirant protection they offer.The mechanism is the same as for the Gillette versions with a turn or two of the wheel at the base pushing the gel through a grid of holes for applying underarm.I like the Captain fragrance. It is fresh but not too sweet and matches the scent of the Captain body wash, deodorant body spray, aftershave and (non-antiperspirant) deodorant stick all of which are readily available in this country.As I have now started seeing this particular variant in high street shops, I am hopeful that the company has launched them specifically for the UK market and that the price will become more affordable. And perhaps they will also launch some of the other varieties such as the Classic scent and Whitewater.If you can get it at a good price, then I definitely recommend this product. It offers long-lasting protection and being a gel product doesn't readily leave white marks on your clothes. And it smells great of course!

As some reviewers said, this deodorant can cause skin irritation, even though is not immediately. I said to give this a go, as I sweat a lot and almost everything I tried didn’t work or last long enough. This does seem to last at least 15 hrs, but without intense physical activities (haven’t tried that yet). It smells nice and does the job. No irritation has occurred yet. But probably is best to keep in mind for very sensitive skin

I have tried many deodorants over the years. Different scents, different formats. I'm a fairly heavy sweater so tend to just use antiperspirants.I don't know why, but this product works better than any antiperspirants I have ever used, the scent is really nice and fresh and it lasts all day. I put it on in the morning and I can still smell it very strongly by the end of the night.Buying in bulk reduces the price nicely. I have zero complaints.

Applies easily. Not much needed. Strong scent which I like.

This works really well and smells lovely. It only takes a minute to dry and then lasts till the next shower withno stickiness. Excellent quality and value for money.

Bought this one because I loved the quality and lingering perfume of my previous purchase. It's difficult to take a chance on the myriad iterations of the old spice Captain series. My lovely experience has not been repeated. Despite this, it is a fantastic purchase with quality exceedin most high end shower gels
