Works great... my subaru is gauges only.. iy helps to have a digital display on glass driving through cop infested parts of town.

I purchased this in June 2024, and have installed this in three different cars. Overall it works wonderfully, but it has one flaw you should be aware of. It works great at night and 99% of the time during the day. If you’re driving towards the sun on a clear morning/evening, it can be pretty hard to read, but that’s to be expected, not much you can do about that. It’s also a little hard to read when wearing polarized sunglasses. However, this speedometer is not totally accurate. It’s an excellent driving aid, but don’t put your full trust in this. I’ve found that between 0-50mph the speed is spot on, maybe a 1-2mph variance. However, if you’re driving highway speeds, the speed often reads too high on this device. The highway near me has those radar cameras that tell you your speed as you pass by them. I’ve noticed that whenever the radar says I’m driving 72-73mph (which matches my car’s built-in speedometer), the heads up display will read 79-82mph. Not a big deal, but if you’ve got a dashcam and that incorrect, inflated number shows up on the footage, that might hurt your claim with your insurance company, depending on your circumstances. So be careful where you place it and how you use it! Otherwise, this is an awesome addition to any car old or new!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: this is a really neat gadget. it has a working gps system that is more accurate than your speedometer. Functionality: it is just plug and play. no real programming

Works OK, has the slowest GPS seek and updating that I've seen this century. But it works, has a good display and is nice and simple.

The device is showing up 15 mph less speed than speedometer.

Love this item The numbers are clear and bright even in the day. I will admit I have a light tint on the windshield that helps a lot. Love it

I'm pleased with the brightness, but this thing is impossible to accurately calibrate. At 40mph, it is dead on. At 50 and above it is consistently 3mph faster than true speed.

Speed is too high by 0.7%. 60 shows 64 120 shows 128 I followed the instructions, and adjusted the GPS settings and now the speed displayed is perfect.

Heads up display worked great for about a month and then just stopped working one day. I tried plugging it into a different usb port, and tried it in my other vehicle and it just won’t turn on anymore. Not very impressed. Can’t seem to contact seller or Amazon because it’s more than 30 days old since I purchased.

Because of the reflective film I can see the number clearly even in bright day light. I think that's what sets this product apart from other hud products. I just set the reflective film a little below my eyesight and I can read the number without looking directly down at it. Lovely! No more need to annoyingly keep looking down at the dashboard every few seconds to check the speed. Speed reading matches accurately to the actual speed. I set the speed discrepancy adjustment to 102 and it's perfect.

Perfect for old cars. Bright when it’s sunny and still able to be seen in the rain and snow with the reflective film.
