I ordered the current one so I could keep one in the car and one in the house. This is the updated version, which many of the reviews find to be not as good as the original. I disagree - I love the old one and also love the new one. The new one is slightly bigger than the old, and has a hard rubber coating down the middle. With my older, less flexible hands, I find both features make using it much easier. The new version is thicker than the old one so more easily gripped and used. The heads are slightly bigger so they do a super job of taking dirt out from under the nails and pushing the cuticle. With the wider tip, it easily takes out dirt coating both the underside of the nail and the skin of the finger.
