Auto Ventshade [AVS] In-Channel Rain Guards for 2005 - 2016 Nissan Xterra | Window Vent Visors, 4 pcs. - Smoke | 194539

I bought these to have the windows cracked in the rain (guess not sure what else you can use it for) and works great. Just the back ones sometimes if you roll down past it will get stuck and you will have to press on the visor a little bit for the window to roll up. The reason it does it is because one side of the rear windows does not have tape and so its free, thus moves and blocks the window occasionally. (I can probably fix with some heavy duty double sided tape or glue, just have not got around to it) Summary: Fits great, they are not an eye sore because they go on the inside of the window, and help keep the car cool in the summer.

Take a minute to read the directions and you'll be fine. The whole processing took less than 20min for me. They fit my 05 and look great. Packaging is a pain to open, have a knife ready and take your time. I've had both in-channel and outside shades on different vehicles in my life. In channels stick longer and look better. Worth a little extra money imo.

Product is great however the adhesive location was not properly thought out for my make and model vehicle but we made it work.

I had these on a few different vehicles years ago and decided to give them a try again. The quality has gone down. The double sided adhesive was poorly placed from the factory and missing from part of the rear window vents and the rear windows cannot be rolled up without pushing out on the vent shade. The front passenger window is a poor fit and I’ll have to trim the side view mirror trim for it to fit properly and also will not allow the window to open and close without pushing on the vent shade. The drivers side fits fine. I’m disappointed as the ones I’ve had in the past worked great. This set - not so much.

These things feel very high quality and seem to fit perfectly. Very easy install and not adhesion issues! Remember people, its all in the prep work. If you get lazy and don't follow the instructions or don't clean the area well it will not work as described..

I bought this for my 2013 Xterra, and while installing I noticed that there we sections on some pieces that did not have adhesive pads, but other pieces did have those pads. The parts missing pads do not sit properly in the channel and this would be bad because it blocks the window rolling all the way up, but the parts with those pads do sit tighter in the channel, but they ALSO block the windows rolling up around 75% of the time, especially the rear windows. As a concept these are good, but the design, manufacture and QC are bad.

I love these window rain guards as I call them. They fit easily into the window channel. Just adhere and roll up window to seal. They block the sun and rain and they are big enough to lower window and not get wet or lose the heat from your car because they do not allow the air to come rushing in when you open window a crack. Great product.
