Featuring the legendary Malcolm Smith, this Bruce Brown film is a timeless classic unmatched by todays backyard video conglomeration. Bruce Brown is a master of entertaining quality videos. His coverage of these classic events will keep you on your toes. Review: Biking in 1970's USA. - If you are a biker of any description and can ignore the slightly irritating, dated sound track you should find this film entertaining. It features all sorts of riding: track racing, desert racing, road racing, riding on ice, hill climbs. The narrative is a bit comic book style at times but is good enough to hold the viewer's attention for the 90 minutes duration. Some of the filming is impressive, considering its 1970's origins and is a tribute to the Director's skill. It's a bit of a nostalgia trip so probably more interesting for someone my age (the wrong side of 50) than for someone younger. I gave it to my 22 year old son to watch and he was less impressed. It is exclusively about American riders and races and the biking scene in 1970's USA. Steve McQueen is mentioned on the DVD cover but he features only as an accomplished rider of bikes and not as the big film star he became. Unusual; a bit of a rediscovered gem. Review: A must for motor cycle fans - I've been trying to get a copy of this for some years, as I'd heard so much about it. It was well worth the wait. If you're over a certain age, it will bring memories flooding back. The sheer joy of the riders, the untamed events, the skill, the fun, the atmosphere. But best of all - not a sign of the Health & Safety police! The riders just get on their bikes and ride them like they're stolen. My girlfriend isn't remotely interested in bikes, but she watched it, fascinated, from start to finish. You don't have to know anything about bikes to enjoy this great film. An added bonus is that Steve McQueen features in the film, which he also backed financially. Buy it while you can!

I feel so old!
What can I say? It's a film of it's time and a film of my youth. On Any Sunday you could always find me up to my ears in mud too! It's a wonderful trip down memory lane of a time when you could afford a decent off road bike on paper round money and join the hundreds of other kids and adults riding their socks off in the local wildlands - in a more innocent time before health and safety and councils banning anything with wheels from every piece of land they could think of. A classic that makes all us oldsters feel all nostalgic, and all the youngsters jealous of a time when you really could go out and have fun 'On Any Sunday'.

French version but good value
This is a French version of the legendary film. The packaging and titles are written in French and the main commentary is dubbed into French. It is possible to select the American English commentary but in this mode I was unable to watch it without having French sub titles. Having said that, this is the original film (I think), which is a classic... a bit dated but great none the less. If you can ignore the sub-titles (which I can) then this is a cheap option of owning a copy of this classic motorcycle documentary.

The best old school mx film
I had this on Betamax and VHS and I was sooooo please when I seen it was on DVD. It's a great doc film for motorbike lovers. I don't really know what else to write as it's just brilliant. A well worth buy even if you have it on VHS like me. I can watch it over and over again. It's a perfect present for a bike lover and it's at an excellent price.

Amazing! The soundtrack is effortlessly cool
Amazing! The soundtrack is effortlessly cool, the narration is a blast, the filming is somewhat comforting and the people who made it happen were inspiring. If you are in to bikes, racing, good old fashioned 70's music and some pretty hilarious comedy moments I very highly recommend this box set. I have watched this movie and listened to the soundtrack so many times they actually merge in to one and I can here and see each without the other. I don't think this will disappoint, perfect for any family member who grew up in this era.

The coolest Motorcycle Film ever!
This is the coolest Motorcycle Film ever, featuring the King of Cool Steve McQueen. The film contains the whole US Motorcycle Sports of the year 1970. Dirtrack with Mert Lawill on Harley Davidson Roadrace with Mert Lawill on Harley Davidson Enduro and Six Days with Malcolm Smith on Husqvarna And Motocross/Enduro with Steve McQueen on Husqvarna. I watched the film already 3 times, great and relaxing. But my 7 Year old son has watched the film already more than 10 times. He is starting Motocross and likes this film too much. Living in Italy, wathcing this film my son will learn English quite fast.

Compulsory viewing.
Saw this film years ago at a mates house and when i saw it on here i had to have a copy. For anyone interested in bikes this is a must see. Full of footage from an era when things seemed a little simpler... just blokes and bikes, not a tire warmer in sight and plenty of crashes with no-one whining about them in the back pages of MCN. If i could give this 6* i would. Cheers.
