Absolutely love Spazz!
I just received my robovac this afternoon, and let me tell ya: I already absolutely love it. I have named him Spazz, since the first time using him, he went in all sorts of seemingly random directions and was completely aggressive with ANYthing in his way. I'm talking full - bore, ram into it and push it.Then, as I realized, he was simply mapping his parameters and once he learned them (which didn't take long) he just did his thing and went right back to the charging station and rested. Here is my feedback:1. I had a little trouble with the app. I tried logging in several different times with several different passwords and I kept getting a very cryptic message, that wasn't even complete! Just a quick flash on my screen and I cannot for the life of me tell you HOW I ended up finally logging in. But I did and will never log out. Ever. Just in case.2. It took me a few tries (before I came to the conclusion that it was my error not the machine) to get Spazz to connect to the app. Little did I know that since the power station (some like it hot) is positioned relatively close to the Internet router already, I did not need to find it, but simply press the start/home buttons at the same time to reset the wifi and then connect to the app via bluetooth.3. I am assuming Bluetooth always needs to be on in order to control Spazz, but at night when my phone is charging I'll turn it off and turn it back on in the morning. Not sure I like the idea of always having Bluetooth running since it is a battery drainer.4. I also am not a fan of allowing ANY thing to use my location, except GPS, but alas, if I want to control Spazz remotely (this unit did not come with a remote, btw) I am at the mercy of this requirement. I also have outdoor cameras by the same company, so they know my location already anyway I suppose.5. I like the suction Spazz has: he even picked up a sock that my boyfriend lacksidasically left on the floor. Which caused a red flashing error and the voice on the charging port yelled at me saying to clean the roller brush. So I flipped Spazz over and lo and behold, there was a sock halfway in and halfway out of the roller brush. Pulled it out and good as new. So, suction is AMAZING.6. Speaking of suction, he does a great job of getting up dog hair. I have 2 dogs, one with very thin hair and the other with a wiry undercoat and it is all gone within the cleaning time.7. And touching on that aspect, it really doesn't take THAT long. Yes, it takes longer than I do BUT I also do not go in any kind of pattern like Spazz NOR do I go over the same area more than once. In essence, he is cleaning my floors better than I do and I'm kinda ticked about it.8. The fact that I can control how much suction he has using the app is great. Even though he features a BoostIQ, changing the suction depending on the material, I still like that I can get a more thorough cleaning using MAX. Does it use more battery? Yes. Does it clean more? Perhaps. Does it make me FEEL like it's cleaning more? Absolutely.9. The mapping accuracy is indeed, well, accurate. I moved him upstairs to do my two bedrooms and the hallway and at first he was like, 'uhhhh I haven't been here yet. What's going on? Where am I? Who are you?!' but then he settled down and mapped out the areas just fine and went along his merry way.10. I have to de-snag him from cords every once in awhile and give him a little nudge transitioning from the downstairs hallway to the bathroom, but honestly once he learns his map, he avoids such obstacles and has even figured out how to get over the hump from the threshold in the bathroom. Basically lifts up and scales it like he's climbing Mt. Everest, which to him, may seem like it.11. I like the fact that he empties himself and any hair caught on the brush is quickly razored away when he goes home. Yes it's a bit noisy but it's only for a minute and I'll take that over needing to manually pull hair out like I have to in my regular vacuum. Not getting my hands all gross is a huge plus. And it really doesn't seem like there is anything tangled in it anyway. I have long hair but I'm pretty adamant about getting it thrown away even though I know there's some strands about.12. Spazz's functionality is top - notch. Nothing has gone wrong, other than the few things with the app connection and the wayward sock incident, as it is now known as.13. The dogs do not seem to be bothered by him at all, just curious as to what this new thing is in their space and my male quickly dis-trusted Spazz to NOT suck up his favourite bone so he snaggled it up and went to another room. My female watched Spazz very intently, just in case he may actually have legs and feet and scurry away. Thankfully she did not try to bite him like she does with my regular vacuum!14. I have a robot trash can (motion sensour) in my kitchen and Spazz knocked into it while mapping and I told him 'that is another robot. There better not be any interaction between the two of you and don't even think about communicating.' Only time will tell what transpires between them. If we don't turn up for awhile, do a wellness check. If there's a putrid odour, but the floors are clean and the garbage has been taken out, just know humanity has lost. For everyone complaining it is not immediately perfect right out the box: there IS a manual on line. Read it. Study it. Learn it. Embrace it. If you cannot find the time to actually READ something, watch a video since most people believe that because you watched a 3 minute video, you're automatically brilliant and know everything about it. It will never be perfect in any way, shape or form. Remember, computers are only as smart as the person using them. Take some time to get to know your machine and HAVE PATIENCE!!

First, I am a huge fan of Anker/Eufy and have a ton of their products - from charging to power banks to smart door locks and even a Eufy G40. I have used them satisfactorily for years but I don't know if I will after my most recent experience. I have had a G40 model for almost 2 years and grabbed this at Christmas as a gift for myself to upgrade and move the G40 to the upstairs. It was a mistake. The features sound great, but it wasn't a couple of months before it stopped working completely.Pros:1.) It has a fancy map my previous model did not. It can be edited to block off areas instead of physically moving things to stop the vacuum from going near cords that may be under furniture or down steps which was really important to me as I have a couple of rooms that are a step down and my previous vacuum had to be blocked with a baby gate. This was fantastic!2.) Self emptying and auto roller brush hair cutter. Super win!Problems:1.) It gets stuck constantly. It would stop in the middle of the room with a roller brush stuck error. I would pick it up and look at it and the brush was clean, telling it to resume would allow it to continue on. This would happen half dozen times during a cleaning cycle. If you ran it unsupervised the battery would have just drained and died waiting for you to hit the resume button.2.) Sometimes it would get lost and instead of returning to base when the battery was low it would circle around a room until depleted. The base is in the center hall of the house and not obstructed by any furniture. The map is correct. I had not rearranged the house.3.) It cannot handle moving across carpet. It would constantly complain about being stuck (not the same roller brush error) when moving across low pile rugs that the G40 never had an issue with. This was rather comical as it has massive monster truck wheels and a suspension that the G40 did not yet it couldn't go across a rug without problems.4.) It would frequently lose connection to the wifi/base station and I would have to reset the wifi. The router is 10 feet away with no obstructions between the base and the router. The G40 is on a whole different level of the house and still does not do this.5.) Eventually it stopped cutting the roller brush and stop emptying the dust bin. It would announce it was doing these things but did not do them. Finally over a week ago I tried to use it for a room cleaning, it left the station, then stopped a foot away. The battery was dead. I reseated the battery, cleaned the contacts, all the suggestions from the support site and it still wouldn't work. Powering on shows it's at 1%, pushing it into the base charger results in "charging" then when it gets to 3% it shuts down and drains again. I contacted support, did these suggestions a second time as recommended, same result. Sent them the requested video of it doing nothing. They said they would replace it if this didn't result in a solution. I replied it did not and got a second email telling me to do these same steps a third time and that they did not promise to replace it and to show them where they said they would (it's literally in a previous email on the same support ticket). I responded with that info and asked if they had additional suggestions and it has been radio silence.I am currently sitting here with a dead vacuum, outside of the return window, & dusty dirty floors. Don't buy this model.

I'm impressed
For $300, as it currently has a coupon for $100 off, you can't beat it. I am a EE and design control systems for a living. I have to say I am impressed with the lidar and navigation capabilities of this vacuum. I have an Android phone, and the app is also impressive and easy to use (again, relative to the cost of the vacuum). The vacuum actually speaks to you and tells you what it is doing, i.e., positioning, cleaning roller, etc. So, it has all the "bells and whistles". Now, I have only had it a week, but again, for the money, I don't think you can beat it.You will need the app to utilize the vacuum, and it will need to connect wirelessly to the internet. So, keep this in mind as they are a necessity. When you first start it up, it will navigate the entire permitter of your house. It will follow the walls and map each room you allow it in. Once it does that, it will begin cleaning. From that point, you have a map of your house in the app. You can then instruct it to only clean a specific room, or a selection of rooms. Then, off it goes to clean the room and returns to its base.If during operation, its container fills or the battery is depleted, it will return to the base to empty its collection bin and recharge. Then it will finish the job. I have two dogs, golden retriever and border collie. A lot of hair. This base station has a hair cutter. As the robot parks on the base, the cutter will run across and cut the hair off the roller. The base then sucks it up as it vacuums out the robot. The cutter did jam once on me (of which it tells you it is jammed). I just had to move the robot off the base, pull the hair out of the cutter slot and put the robot back. Not a big deal, and overall, impressed with how it works. This model is supposed to be able to mop, and comes with a mop pad attachment, but I am not using that. I have a mix of wood floors and carpet/rugs, in each space other than the kitchen, and can't imagine it really doing a good job mopping. maybe some day I will try it on the kitchen, but probably not. There are some hidden use costs like bags and filters. The base station has a bag that you will need to replace. The vacuum itself has a small HEPA filter. So yes, you will have operating costs, but what vacuum doesn't? The app does keep track of operating hours, and has suggested replacement intervals for things like the main roller, the edge sweeper brush, etc. They are in the thousands of hours so not like they are setting them to some obscure value to make you replace them constantly. The vacuum itself is not that loud. A regular stick vacuum is louder in my opinion. The base itself is loud. It sounds like a shop vac when it runs. So while the dogs did not care about the vacuum running around, they did take notice when the base station was performing its clean of the robot. It is brief, 10 seconds or so, but it is noisy for that time. It also performs that twice. Once before cutting the hair from the roller, and a second time after cutting the hair from the roller.Only time will tell durability, but as far as its performance goes, and what you get for the money, i am quite pleased at this point.

UPDATED: Disappointing model, A+ customer service
[UPDATE July 5 2025] I worked with Eufy's customer support and was guided through some troubleshooting steps, which resulted in me needing to ship the vacuum to them for repair (shipping was paid for by Eufy). The ended up sending me a new replacement, and in a newer model as well! While the lifespan of the purchased item was disappointing, Eufy's customer service was not.Original Review:I initially loved my eufy. I got the L60 SES, have hardwood floors and cats, so the detangling feature was perfect for our needs. The first 6 months it worked flawlessly, but the past 3 months it has been a nightmare trying to get it to work. The HOURS I have spent with needle-nose tweezers pulling hair out from the various wheel parts. I have factory reset the device twice in hopes of getting it to work again. We have changed the dust-bags and cleaned all sensors and filters as it alerts us to, it still will not work. What it is doing: it leaves its charging base, then stutters around in a few backwards circles over the course of 5 minutes, before alerting that it is stuck. I have taken this thing apart down as far as I am able to without voiding the warranty and it is clean, inside and out. There should be no issues. We recently moved the home base to a new location and told it to 're-map' in hopes that maybe a fresh re-mapping would help it realize that it is not stuck, but it repeated the same behavior and was unable to complete the remapping process.I have reached out to Eufy support to see if there is anything they can recommend that we have not tried yet - waiting to hear back, I will update when I have heard more. I don't know what is wrong with it, this behavior started seemingly overnight. One day it was working fine, the next, it throws a temper tantrum every time it is scheduled to run.I hate to say it, but right now, this is simply expensive junk. Disappointed in how long it lasted for the price.

Hair cut feature doesn't work, mediocre vacuum
I purchased two of this item, one as a gift. On paper, it looked like it should do all the things I needed: hair cutting of the roller brush, removal of dirt into a separate bag, different levels of vacuuming for different floors, etc. After trying the different floor levels, the lowest one is used on carpet, and it still doesn't pick up everything. it does surface level ok, but not well at glitter, strings from clothes, fuzz, pilled fuzz (like from blankets), so the suction is mediocre at best. It does pull the dirt out of the vacuum into the bag, which is easy to remove and replace. You can start and stop and do commands from either the vacuum or the app that you install on your phone. the app does well with commands and you can contact support if needed. Getting the vacuum to connect to wifi was a bit of a challenge, but now it works ok. the hair cutting feature, which is supposed to cut the hair off the roller brush while housed at the base does not work. It also does not work in the one I gave as a gift. It never has. I inquired about this previously and was given several things to do, unfortunately none of which worked, so i had settled on having to cut the hair out by hand and had been doing this for a while. This was actually the real selling point for me when I initially purchased a little over a year ago, and I got tired of doing it, so i contacted support again who now tells me I can purchase a cutting mechanism for about $45. I think not. I would not purchase this again.

Both App and vacuum... flawless
I had my doubts. This thing has been great though! I'm a neat freak with 2 Chihuahua and their hair sticks to my socks. Drives me crazy. After I run it I notice far far less hair if any on my socks. It seems to do the rooms very consistent and efficient too. I set zoned to not go near their water bowls to avoid spillage. It has never failed once and perfectly avoids that area around the bulls perfectly. I have a mixture of hardwood floors and carpeted living room. It does both very very well. After the kid Cooks in the kitchen it does a great job of picking up all his crumbs he drops on the floor lol. It's just very nice and convenient to have! Peace of mind knowing that there's not crumbs and debris laying all around on the floors. Sure it's probably not as good as running the vacuum by hand... But it's damn near as good and far easier. I run it a couple times a week and then maybe once or twice a month I pull out the old school vacuum and get the areas that it might not get to. As far as the app too it works great you can lay out zones to not go to you can pick which room you want it to clean. You could even have it vacuum up just a certain zone you pick like the middle of the floor for instance. Once a week I pull the filter rinse it out set it on the counter and let it dry out and replace it. You can order replacement filters and brushes for very cheap here on Amazon as well. If you're on the fence about getting one I definitely say go for it. If you're a need freak like me it's worth every penny and then some! Also the brush has never been Tangled with hair and my girlfriend has hair that seems to find its way everywhere lol. I'll run the brush cleaning which only takes a few seconds in the brush when I inspect it appears to be hairless and Tangled free. For a smart vacuum thing is damn near flawless

Excellent Product, Game Changer or so I thought... Update one year later
Update to My eufy L60 Robot Vacuum Review (Originally Posted August 2024)I originally posted a glowing review of the eufy L60 in August 2024. At the time, I was genuinely thrilled with how quiet, efficient, and easy to use it was. It handled pet hair well, mapped my home quickly, and felt like a great value—especially with an Amazon coupon that brought the price under $300.But just over a month in—literally a day or two past the return window—the vacuum started having issues docking. It would spin in place trying to align with the charging base, fail repeatedly, and eventually run the battery completely dead. Once that happened, I learned something I wish I’d known from the start: if the battery is fully dead, the vacuum won’t charge, even when manually placed on the dock. There’s no charging port on the unit itself, and it can’t "wake up" to begin charging unless it already has some power. This essentially renders it non-functional if it ever fully dies.I reached out to eufy support, and they were helpful. Since I missed the Amazon return window by just a couple of days, they shipped me a refurbished replacement. That unit arrived with minor scuffs and even someone else’s debris inside, but I set it up anyway. Unfortunately, after a few days, the same docking issue occurred again. Support then sent me a replacement battery. Once I swapped in the new battery—which had a partial charge—the vacuum was able to dock and charge as expected. Problem solved… or so I thought.A week ago (July 2025), it happened again. The unit must’ve failed to dock while I wasn’t home, drained completely, and once again became unresponsive—even when manually docked. Swapping in the previously used battery (which still held a charge) immediately fixed the issue. This confirms the flaw: the eufy L60 cannot begin charging from a completely dead state. The only fix is to insert a charged battery, which is not a realistic or acceptable expectation for most users.Given this recurring issue and the lack of a basic design solution like a charging port or backup method, I can no longer recommend the eufy L60. It’s a great product when it works, but this glaring defect can turn it into a frustrating and useless brick with no warning. Unless future models address this flaw, I’d advise looking elsewhere.Review of My eufy L60 Robot VacuumI’m thrilled with my eufy L60 Robot Vacuum—it’s been a game changer for keeping my home clean. One of the first things I noticed is how quiet it is, even on the highest setting. It’s far less intrusive than traditional vacuums, and I can barely hear it working from other rooms.Setting it up was a breeze. The instructions were clear, and I had it mapping my house in just a few minutes. The app is incredibly user-friendly and intuitive, making the whole process effortless. While the retail price is around $400, I snagged it for just under $300 with an Amazon coupon, which feels like a great deal. The eufy L60 maneuvers around my home with ease, even handling tight spaces and tricky spots with confidence. It only got stuck once on a USB cord, but it alerted me immediately, and I was able to resolve it quickly. The zone and room controls are a fantastic feature. I can now schedule cleaning for specific rooms or high-traffic areas, which wasn’t an option with my previous robot vacuum. This has made a big difference in how I manage cleaning tasks.Handling pet hair is another area where the eufy L60 shines. I have dogs that shed quite a bit, and this vacuum tackles the hair without any issues. Maintenance is mostly automated, but I do need to perform a bit of hands-on cleaning every few days. This involves tipping the vacuum over, removing any loose strings or debris from the brushes, and then setting it back upright and pressing continue. It takes about 45 minutes to clean an area that would take me 10-15 minutes with a traditional vacuum. But honestly, the time it takes is worth it for the freedom to do other things while the vacuum works. Plus, its stylish and sleek design blends well with my home décor without standing out.I’m also interested in trying the new eufy X10 Pro Omni, which offers mopping and many more features. However, at $800, it’s a bit out of my budget right now. I’m working towards getting one so I can test it out and see how it compares.Overall, the eufy L60 Robot Vacuum has been an excellent investment, offering convenience and performance that has made my home cleaner with minimal effort.

Great at first, now it sucks.
Performance has degraded significantly since I’ve owned it. I’ve made sure it’s clean and not clogged with no luck. It also sounds like it’s dying while it’s cleaning so I don’t run it often anymore, and especially unsupervised. I have a dog who sheds a lot and it doesn’t do a great job at picking up his hair anymore. It also is the only device in my home that disconnects from my network pretty often. Overall disappointed in this thing. Won’t be buying from EUFY again, I’ll go with the bigger brands.

A ton of value in this model (L60 SES)
This thing is great we have 2 super shedder dogs that blow their coats in the spring and running this every 12 hours has really kept the dog fur tumbleweeds to a minimum. We have always had issues keeping up with the fur output but it's taken care of now. The hair cutter also works great never any hair or fur wrapped around the bristles just the very ends need to be cleaned once a week or so,The only cons I see are on max power the battery drains over 1% a minute if you have a larger house you will need to run the power lower or it will need to recharge in between rooms. The filter on the dustbin is also a little on the small side so it will require cleaning more often. Likewise the dust bags in the base are not huge so we nearly filled it in a week vs the advertised 60 days when the dogs were shedding this spring. The base is also loud, like industrial shop vac loud when emptying the robot. With that said it still gets 5 stars from me, it cleans the tons of dog fur incredibly well, the app works good. It avoids everything it could get stuck/tangled in. Running it on the second highest suction it still cleans just as good and has 50% battery left when done as we have alot of hard floor. The self emptying works great just a little loud, the hair cutter works excellent and it goes at least a week without any intervention, 10 minutes of cleaning the robot a week for all the hours of vacuuming is a great trade. Will be looking at the Eufy X10 Omni in the near future when we want a mopping robot!

Not very good
Liked at first, but then, this vacuum might be more trouble than using a manual one. We have had to uninstall and reinstall the app a few times. Then remap the whole house again and again. It fails to pick up things like popcorn kernels or anything of similar size. The hair detangling doesn't work. Another failure, it actually drove itself down the stairs! How does that happen? We missed the return date and are stuck with this POS. All that being said. We bought a lot of bags for it, so we use it only upstairs where there is only minor dust to pick up. When we run out of bags, this vacuum will be put in the garbage. We bought a different one for the main floor from Costco because of their return policy. Hopefully it works better. If anyone reads this that can recommend an efficient robot vac, it would be much appreciated. Unable to give 0 stars.

Best For Hair
Edit: BEST robot vacuum that I have ever owned for hair. After several months of use, there is not a single hair that is tangled in the brush. Great job Eufy!Going to buy a second one once they go on sale for upper floor of our house. My thoughts belowPROS-The auto hair cutter/detangler is a very unique feature of this vacuum and has withstood tons of my wife's hair with no problems thus far.-Replacement parts are readily now available (this is a very important consideration for robot vacuums)-Eufy app is great. Had no issues defining rooms once preliminary map was made. Haven't encountered any significant bugs. Appreciate the "number of uses" and "time spent cleaning" metrics especially.-Suction power is excellent. Have not noted any issues with it leaving behind anything significant/measurable.CONS-No extra replacement parts are included in the box (a small gripe)-Once, the vacuum got lost and abandoned current task, returning home-As expected, the base station is quite loud when emptying out the vacuum. Don't do this while you are sleeping or there are noise sensitive activities nearby (meetings etc).

Loud while emptying
This product has exceed my expectations and is an excellent addition to our home cleaning routine. My only criticism of the vacuum is that it is quite loud while emptying, otherwise it works great and does a wonderful job. I have 2 GSD dogs who shed a tone of hair and the vacuum has no trouble keeping up with our needs.

11 months review Eufy L60-Selfcleaning
What’s Good1. Effective Lidar System• The Lidar system accurately scans and maps the cleaning area, allowing for efficient navigation and thorough coverage.2. Decent Suction Power• Suction performance is solid and handles daily dust and debris with ease.3. Self-Cleaning Dock• The self-cleaning feature works well. With one cleaning cycle per day, the dust bag lasts about two months for an area of roughly 600 sq ft — quite efficient and convenient.4. Improved App Stability• The app has improved noticeably.• I no longer need to switch between maps as often when moving the vacuum to different locations.• Random undocking issues seem to have been resolved — it hasn’t happened in the past month, suggesting a recent software fix.⸻What Could Be Improved1. Hair Removal System• The hair removal system works only about 50/50. It removes some tangled hair, but not consistently. This feature could be more effective.2. Map and Room Configuration• Earlier, room divisions would reset after a week or so, merging all areas back into one. This issue has improved but still occasionally occurs.3. Wi-Fi and App Connectivity• When the vacuum disconnects from Wi-Fi, reconnecting can still be tricky. I’ve had to use the Eufy Clean app to restore connection.• Over 11 months, Wi-Fi disconnections have been rare (fewer than 10 times), but reconnection reliability could be better.4. Durability of Parts• I run the vacuum once daily, and the brushes and filters tend to wear out faster than expected. Replacements may be needed more frequently.5. docking random red light• Sometimes when it is docking red light comes on. Normally is resolved by moving the unit and press the home to re-dock.
