Best boot for the price!
Waited a while to see how these boots held up. I work MOW for the railroad. Walking on ballast all day can be hell on not just the bottom of the boots but your feet. These boots have held up 5 rotations now(6 weeks on and 2 weeks off). I did have to replace the insoles with a more comfortable pair(4th rotation). Beyond comfortable boot overall, ankle support is definitely there. True to size and fit. Durable as all get of, the BOA system hasn’t let me down at all! Beyond satisfied with this purchase! Looking at getting well over a years use out of them!

Excellent work boot
Loving these work boots. I’m not in construction, but do work in machining on wet and oily floors with heavy metal. Seems to handle it all quite nicely. Leather seems of high quality, they’re very comfortable, and the BOA system has really grown on me. They do get a bit hot, but that’s to be expected with a fully waterproof boot like this. Overall big fan, would buy again.

Perfectly comfortable, Solid work boot, and the boa laces are holding nicely. I have had these boots for about 6 months now and one of, if not the most comfortable work boots I wore.

Great Boot for Offshore
These boots are really amazing for work while offshore when dealing with multiple weather changes in a matter of hours. Boots do seem to run slightly large for the indicated size. Great build over all, the BOA laces are truly awesome for some one who is in and out on constant basis from indoors to outdoors. Fit and quality are what you would would expect from Ariat. Sadly, in my case though the ankle support with the BOA lace system is just not up to par for my needs. These are a great middle ground between pull on western style boots and lace-up boots in terms of support and ease of taking on and off. Highly recommended if you don't have strong ankle support requirements.

Not good to work in off-road applications. Quality lasts about a year.
These boots were just what I needed for the outdoors and for work. 6 months into owning these boots and things were coming off the boots that is making them uncomfortable to wear. I work as a OTR Truck Driver that deliver products off road. So I needed something that could handle the abuse both on concrete and soil/rocks that needed good stability with traction. These do not handle the abuse. With the name Ariat, I'm very disappointed with the quality of these boots. Update: After a year of owning these boots the right boot heel has completely collapsed on the inside. Inside the left shoe, the inside has deteriorated leaving me with some bruises on the bottoms of my foot. The tread wear I expected that it would last longer because of the brand but it's bald in some spots. I use these boots for 12 plus hour days in all types of terrain. I was hoping to get more than a few years from them like my friends has with theirs.

inconsistent fit with boa and fast cracking leather
Okay-ish boots but not for this price. Boa makes it nice for easy on and off but it can't seem to tighten enough. It doesn't equalize well like other boa setups making ankle support questionable. Leather started cracking after only a few weeks of use and kept getting worse even with consistent cleanings/moisturizing to try and slow it down. Not very impressed with the sole, should have measured or taken a picture to compare but after 6 months I feel like it's worn out too quickly compared to previous boots using vibram soles. still usable though. Pretty disappointed that I'm already thinking of replacing these or attempting to fill the cracks and have it resoled after only six months. My previous boots lasted six years with two resoles before switching to these. Usesage has been yard/landscape work, capentry, hiking and just daily wear.

Great boots!
I absolutely love these boots! Felt great new out of the box, not much of a break in period. The BOA features are awesome! Depending on what you’re doing it’s great to loosen them or tighten them for added support. I’m on my feet for 10 hrs a day, and these boots feel great all day! Very pleased with them!

Not for hard everyday use
I’ve had these boots 3-1/2 months and they are no longer water proof and the boa cable system is pulling through the leather They did well in the snow when I first got them but they are a lot of money for a boot that’s not holding up. I work with equipment in and out of holes so I need a boot that can hold up and shovel all winter so I need water proof they were also warm in the little bit of winter I used them
