Resolve o problema do sensor crop.

Good product but read the review carefully to know what to expect.
I was originally going to buy the metabones adapter but this was flagged to me so i thought id try it on y Canon R7. Positives. The RF side locks in really well to the body. The weather seal on the RF side fits nicely. The control wheel on the side works well and can be allocated a custom function. The image quality with the speed booster on is largely unaffected , if pixel peaking one can see some very slight image fuziness in the corners of some images but then again its showing more of the actual lens image footprint on the sensor that one wouldnt usually see on an APS-C crop sensor so the tiny amount of softness could be the lens itself you just never see it on a crop sensor.. Works pretty well on most lenses but see the not so good comments below Great price compared to metabones Allows an extra stop of light Not so good When using some zoom lenses that arent equipped with IS the built in IBIS of the camera jumps at certain zoomed focal lengths when zooming through. . In my case this happens to my Canon EF 2.8 24-70 L when zooming passed 20-21mm ( as reported in camera by the speedbooster not on the actual lens focal length ) and my Canon 2.8 70-200M L zooming passed 69mm( again, as reported in camera by the speedbooster not on the actual lens focal length ) . The IBIS stutters at that point as i dont think the camera can work out whats going on as the reported focal length isnt the true focal length of the lens and at that point in the zoomed focal length compared to the true focal length a brain fart and the IBIS over reacts . The way around this is to set IBIS from always on to 'one shot ' so IBIS only cuts in just before taking a photo and not when zooming the lens .Although in video mode you cant do this as IBIS runs all the time so you need to avoid shooting video and zooming while filming when using the lenses which is a pain. Edit, I’ve found the stutter was due to ibis turning on , when the lens is wider than the actual focal length the camera turns Ibis off as the adaptor isnt providing the body with the correct focal length information. I have reported this to Mieke but they didn’t seem overly bothered to investigate and have never updated the firmware so I don’t use the adaptor anymore as of 2026 and it sits in a drawer . The finish on the adapter is glossy meaning it catches the light which isnt great if using for nature, i wish it was satin. The EF side of the mount whilst secure still suffers from the EF mount wriggle albeit very slight and no worse than Canons own system. The EF side hasnt been designed for the EF weather resistant gasket in mind so the lens gasket rides over the edges of the face of the adaper and provides no sealing what so ever, odd as the RF side is designed nicely and seals well against the body on that side of the adaptor. The warning that the accessory isnt designed for the camera every time you turn the camera on which you have to accept to use the adapter , to be fair you have to do this with the Canon speedbooster offering so its more of a camera thing that the speedbooster itself The instructions are poor, they provide gaskets to adjust infinity focus but the 'how to' is brief and doesnt really give enough info to attempt it yourself. Basically i wouldnt even mess with that unless you use manual focus and need to use the lens window to work out the focus distance. I contacted their tech support to ask if there was a fix for the IBIS issue , they just responded with 'try this please' and sent a basic firmware file but no instructions regarding how to install or installer file it so im no better off . So id say its a good product that could be better supported and could do with some very small design tweaks and possibly a frimware update for the IBIS issue when zooming non IS lenses . Id say its 90% there with regards to me being totally happy with it. Its very usuable as is however and the image quality is great, autofocus works great, the near full frame image is great... there are a lot of greats and not so many not so greats here.

Very nice speedring
Works very well. Gets most of your crop factor back and adds a stop to your lenses. Only issue is camera complains about it not being a standard accessory, but just requires an extra button push when turning the camera on. Used it to get some great astro photography shots.
