Review: As a concrete floor sealer the instructions fall short - You want to thin this stuff for sure... I called the manufacturer and they werent as vague as the instructions and tried to offer more than was written, but even then- it fell short. If youve ever done an epoxy floor- throw out all the knowledge youve gained for the application process 1 it mentions you can thin it (thin it no questions asked 10-20% xylene or #1 from KBS) 2 put it in a paint tray (dont pour lines on the floor) 3 high density foam roller (mohair roller) 4 dont load the roller (use as little as possible) it mentions ideal temps and moisture levels (if you cant achieve those dont expect 2-4 hour recoat times- its not going to happen: expect 1-2 days between coats) 5 thinner is better for coats but with low moisture and or low heat- expect 1-2 days between coats; more if really low on either scale... 6 smells forever 7 the lid is trash and they know it, order hat you need and between 20-50% more if coating concrete (order containers that fir the quantity you need because youre not going to be expecting to be able to reuse them) 8 you can get more life out of a can if you dont need a lot at a time by poking a hole in the lid and putting a metal screw with a rubber washer on it (acts like a cork and another for for air and plug it when done) 9 i only got bubbles on the concrete- the area where i didnt was the relief cracks i filled prior with epoxy and it looks like glass (generally you get bubble from off gassing when your layers are too thick- honestly i think its because i didnt thin it) 10 i had a little bit of left over from y first gallon so i walked around with a foam brush and painted random bits on my faded car- they look amazing now, streak free, sag free, wave free, and super glossy (I did half a headlight (going to regret that im sure), half a spoiler, my whole driver side mirror, and a corner of my rain diverter)- no bubbles wither and if you do get some; let it cure till hard and you can buff them down and reapply, buff down to even and polish it 11 oh, cure time to recoat just needs to be done within 7 days even though it says 8 hours [directly from the reps mouth] (but im assuming the timer really starts after you cant see a finger print since thats suppose to happen within 2-4hrs on avg with ideal conditions while this product can have its challenges i can speak to its ability- it was put donw in one of our factorie like 15+ years ago; with an avg of 2000-3000 people walking on i multiple times a day including forklifts and heavy electric transport carts and it still looks brand new- it gets burnished (polished) about once a month with a highspeed propane burnisher and its looks just as good as when it was put down. extra note- if you prime your concrete or seal it first with rust seal; ive been told it helps mitigate bubbles; again something not included in tips/tricks (my concrete was ground, vacuumed, rinsed, cleaned with KBS Klean, rinsed (this process was done for hours), and moisture checked to be extra dry for my coating- all your standard steps for epoxy were followed and their products were used (finished 1st coat thursday at 4pm and it was ready for 2nd coat 4pm saturday and 3rd coat was ready monday morning at 4am after hanging a non element exposed heater in the workshop all day and night to maintain 70 degrees)
Review: No return policy! Many complaints days to dry, drips, fish eye... VOC's are through the roof! - I did not use the product because of high VOC's and customer described performance issues that made me neurotic enough not to want to paint my $10,000 boat with. It may be a perfectly good product but from what I read it should be sprayed and not brushed on large projects....and the idea of sanding it off as describe in other customer ratings.... If I could have returned the product I would never have written it a bad review as I do not really know.. but I can read! My advice is read the 2 and 3 star reviews some of the one star ones were often operator error. To conclude if you don't have a paint sprayer and paint garage.. you should use the no VOC epoxy from the Epoxy Resin Store online you get a gallon and a half.... not a gallon.. if you have a drip you can sand and recoat. easy peasy. 2nd coating is simple light sand fine grit sandpaper... Epoxy is very stable in the environment. These dudes should have done the return... I have no doubt I just cost them more with this review... I am not angry but I am effective! I have a different view no the epoxy I recomended yellowed this product did not. If you have a well ventilated area with no wind and no sun it will perform as described. The smell is bad

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is a rotisserie required when top coating saltwater fishing plugs? Thanks**
A: Just dip them, let excess run off back into can, hang and let dry.

**Q: How long it lasts on fiberglass gel coated boats in salt water**
A: why dont you use gel coat

**Q: Can I use this product to coat over the bottom of my jet ski?**
A: Yes

**Q: Does this protect the colors underneath from fading in the sun? One guy says "no" but he seemed insane. Anyone else have any info?**
A: yes it does protect the color underneath, but it can also distort the color. It will also let the color bleed through. We have discovered that it depends on the type of paint that is used under the Diamond.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The application may not be what it seems.
*by A***W on 14 September 2023*

I tried many different application methods, all with high quality application tools, and in the end I had to settle for a matte/not smooth surface on my boats fiberglass hull. A brush left stroke marks especially when overlapping the last strokes. a foam roller left air bubbles that pop like miniature moon craters and a low nap roller left the undesirable rough matte finish. I applied this in a Florida morning with lower humidity and 80-85 degree temps. I’ll have to come back later and add photos because it won’t let me pull from my iPhones photo gallery.
