This device is a lifesaver if you have a PS3 right now. Buying the original controllers as a pain because so many are fake. It’s very hard to tell the difference until they’re in your hands. And legitimate ones are often quite expensive.Just let me use my PS4 controllers, which are more readily available and cheaper. If you’ve normally hooked up your PS4 controller to your PS3, you’ve probably noticed not all the buttons work. The biggest one is the PS logo button not working.I plugged this into the front of my PS3 and then pressed the pair button on it. Then I press the buttons on my PS4 controller for pairing. The controller synced with the system almost instantly. It worked with no trouble and I’ve used every feature on the PS3 with the controller ever since.The only thing that might bother some people is that with this thing you can’t turn on the PS3 using the PS4 controller. The device doesn’t receive any power unless the PS3 is on. That just means you have to turn the PS3 on first and then your controller - not a big deal.Very happy with the quality and price and function of this unit.

What ever system you own, you need to have this! It works great and is compatible with the Pandora boxes.

Amazing product just wish it was a little more affordable in price, otherwise I would have bought two, but ended up buying. Pair of decent third-party ps3 controller just in case for two-player play.

This thing works wonders!!!

Works exactly as intended for the ps3 you just need to turn on the console to use the controller for it. You can not turn on the console with the controller which is fine.i use a ps4 dualshock if it is any difference to others

Had my doubts at first but it was super easy to pair with my dualsense controller, using it on a ps3 system, works flawlessly and makes the controller behave as if it were a dualshock 3, planning on buying another one for my switch

I recently brought out my ps3 from storage to be able to play all my games as it has a pretty game library from it being jailbroken. However. I’m not the biggest fan of the ps3 controller; the ps4 controller however is my favorite controller to game with as I modded it with remapable buttons. The ps3 will unfortunately only pair to the ps4 controller with limited functionality with some games not working at all, like saints row 2, there’s more but only saints row comes to mind atm. With the single I’m now able to connect my DualShock 4 to my ps3 with full functionality with the exception of being able to turn on my ps3.
