Had great difficulty finding a cover that would suit, but finally find this hardwrk cover on Amazon. I was very sceptical that it would be suitable and of good quality, but ordered it knowing that I could return it if necessary.The cover arrived promptly and I was pleasantly surprised by its quality. It was easy to fit on my laptop and snapped into place without problem. Its slightly textured finish made it comfortable to hold. The cover was not brittle and felt substantial. I have not tried to remove the cover so I do not know if this would prove difficult and damage it in any way. It gives easy access to all ports and the CD drive. It is very slim and does not add to the bulk of the laptop.I am very pleased with this hardwrk cover and would recommend it without question. The problem I was having, was finding one that wasn't semi-translusent. I work in the events industry and don't want the Apple logo shining through the case while working in a darkened room. Because it's an older model, it's hard to find one that fits, let alone a solid colour. They are really rare. However, this one is perfect. The Apple logo doesn't show at all through the case meaning it's nice and desecrate. The quality of the plastic is great and the nice matte finish looks very smart. Also, it fits my Macbook Pro perfectly. Delivery was really quick too.
