I have been using cheaper, generic versions of the S6 shaver head for the past two years. My razor is several years old and so did not want to spend a lot of money on replacement heads. My latest generic shaver head broke on Sunday morning. Decided to pay more for Braun version and had it overnighted. First Braun shave was 10x better than anything I experienced with the generic versions. The shaving time on the Braun version took less than two minutes compared to the generic version that took me ~5 minutes every morning. The Braun version was quieter and didn't pull longer hairs. Braun was much sharper and comfortable on my skin. Bottom line...you pay for what you get...invest in the Braun replacement heads. They last longer, fit better, and shave closer and more efficient!

Former Hydro5 (non-elec) shaver. Switched to Braun about 6 years ago. Started with a basic Braun Wet/Dry (blue) and it worked great. Later jumped to the Series 6 primarily for the "turbo" function and longer lasting battery. Just ordered another replacement head. VERY pleased with razor and I only buy OEM replacement heads. I made the mistake of buying non OEM once and definitely won't do that again...they tore up my face. Overall, when I put the pencil to it, it's cheaper to go electric and replace the head about every 6 -9 months rather than cartridges every 3rd shave using non-elec. I was a Hydro5 non-elec user for years because I thought literally nothing could beat that shave, but I was wrong. If I take my time, the Braun S6 does just as good or better without cutting my face up. Make the jump, you'll be really glad you did and you'll spend less money over the long term.

It is the perfect replacement for the Braun Series 6. It is the original that is always the best option

This brand-name replacement works great. Previously I bought cheaper knock-offs that didn't cut as well and were painful to use. Now I will only buy brand-name replacement heads.

Only buy the name brand, the knockoffs are awful and tough to spot, these are great, good quality.

I’ve had this razor for a few years and it was time to replace the blades. I ordered this one and it snapped right in just like the original. The new blades do seem to work better. Highly recommend these new blades for your Braun razor if you’re in need of them. It will make a difference.

I use my electric shaver 5 days a week and it gives a great close shave. I also usually use a blade razor a couple of days a week, usually finishing with my Braun shaver under my chin and the corners of my mouth, so I don't cut myself. The replacement head, in my opinion, works much better than the original head on my Braun razor. I replace every 6 months. Highly recommended
