CatGenie A.I. Classic Self-Cleaning, Fully-Flushing, Automatic Cat Litter Box-New

I loved this litter box so much I got a second one. I have 10 cats, so litter boxes were a chore (I had 7 automatic litter boxes that helped, but was still a lot of work to clean). I researched these for a bit before deciding to try one, since they are expensive and I wasn't sure how difficult it would be to set up. I got it and set it up in my laundry room, next to another litter box. Set up only took me about 15 minutes. The hardest part was getting the dome to fasten together (ended up using a hammer lol). It took a few weeks and me letting the other boxes get a bit dirtier, but they started using it more and more, so I decided to get another one to set in my bathroom. I've had the 2 set up for about 3 weeks now and they use the other litter boxes so much less. I'm hoping to get to the point if them using the catgenie exclusively, but I am down to 2 regular litter boxes and it has made my life a lot easier. As far as continuing cost, the cartridge is about $25. I got the 1st catgenie the middle of April and it lasted until the last week of May, so 6 weeks. I was paying about $60 every 2 weeks for crystal litter, so in the long run, these not only save me time, a mess, and smelly boxes, they will end up costing me less in the long run, even if I buy a cartridge for each cat genie monthly. The noise level, I'd compare it to a washing machine. It's not loud, but you can hear it. The 2 I have are right next to my bedroom and they don't wake me and I'm a pretty light sleeper. It comes with a bag of litter, I did buy an extra to add as needed and I haven't had to add any yet. It does track a bit more than the crystal litter did, but that's a trade off I'm willing to put up with. Just put a good litter mat under it. I'm actually thinking of getting a 3rd, but I'm not sure the best way to hook it up. My other bathroom isn't quite as big and they do take up a bit of space. Although not much more than a traditional litter box. Very glad I took the plunge.

I had to wait over a week to get my Cat Genie authorized now they’re telling me that I have an extra Cat Genie then I need to send back when I’ve purchased for total. I have three older ones, and then one brand new one from Amazon which they’re trying to tell me is not my unit, even though it was paid for on my Amazon charge. Every time I ordered supplies I would order three each of everything. They would send me one each of everything and steal the rest of my money that I had paid for those extra products then they tell me I’m a liar on the phone that that didn’t happen. They don’t call people back. They have blocked me from the GDH help line because they said that I’m a pain to their staff while I need some help to get these boxes up and running now I’m down to two boxes out of four I would totally tell people not to buy this Cat Genie they are junk , the plastic is junk. The paddles that scoop don’t fit right and they scare the cats. They’re cleaning solution the cartridges if you take a new one apart, you’ll see that there’s only a couple tablespoons in there and they charge a $19 for three also the Cat Genie base was leaking underneath where the seal was showed them a video and everything. Supposedly they’re going to send me another one but where is it still waiting ? Please see the picture enclosed that shows the mold in the water damage from the bottom of this Cat Genie leaking the manufacturer isn’t any good obviously if they send something with a broken seal that’s supposed to be brand new . Once again, my recommendation is not to buy this product!

This litter box is awesome, I love not having to deal with it as often, my apartment smells great, and my cats paws are clean and litter free.That being said, there is definitely a learning curve for this device, so I’m going to share all the things I’ve learned the hard way.1. If you have a toilet that clogs easily, don’t have the litter box drain into the toilet. If you have no other option, make sure the toilet is never clogged when the cycle runs. It WILL flood and make a huge mess. I recommend starting with timed cycles for when you will be home to keep an ear on it.2. There is a troubleshooting menu that is only accessible through the buttons on the litter box. If there’s an error, use it. It’s very helpful.3. In the settings menu on the app there’s an option to increase the shaking of the scoop. Turn it on immediately. If the drain line ever clogs, it’ll keep the scoop from dumping a bunch of wet litter in the drain and making an even bigger mess.4. Get the cover. The scoop will fling litter all over if the cover isn’t on. It’s not that expensive and it’s worth it to get right away.I hope these tips help, and if you follow them you should have a smooth and easy transition to this litter box!

This is actually our second CatGenie AI, and we’re still just as impressed as we were with the first one. Our cats love it, and so do we! It’s so nice not having to scoop litter every day. Once it’s set up, it pretty much takes care of itself.The cleaning cycles are super convenient, and it keeps everything smelling fresh (when we can get the unscented Sanisolution, which we really hope comes back in stock soon!). Our cats took to it right away, and it’s made a huge difference in keeping their space clean and comfortable.If you're tired of traditional litter boxes, the CatGenie is definitely worth the investment. We won’t go back!

This is probably the best investment I've ever made for myself and my cats!!! Easy to hook up, and never have to mess with cat litter again!! It's pricey but it's worth it!!
