I love Teeccino , I’ve been telling everyone I know Who either drinks too much coffee or who should really quit caffeine for health problems , all about it . It has a rich flavor and a hint of sweetness that makes it easier to use far less cream and sugar (I liked my coffee very light and very sweet but that’s not healthy) I have this stuff to thank for helping me ditch a several pot a day habit . Just gradually replace your coffee with this over time as the bag describes, and tapering off the caffeine will make it easier to ditch it completely. This is even great as a decaf option for the evening , even if you’re not quitting caffeine or cutting down . My fiancé drinks it too and he loves caffeine and coffee and hardly notices the difference . And best of all , it has inulin from chicory root, which is a great aid for healthy digestion as well . This and probiotics help my ibs a bit (along with some yogurt and kombucha daily) I’ve tried making my own chicory blend before and mixing in dates , but the chicory I got Was dark roast and way too bitter . It was also a process trying to save a little money and spending time blending everything myself . This stuff is great and as easy as making a regular pot to coffee. And basically fool proof . It seems slightly lighter than coffee though , so you may want to be a bit heavy on the scoop at times , I actually Prefer it a bit lighter though .

I'm very sensitive to caffeine now so I haven't drank coffee for more than a decade now. Then I saw this Teeccino Chicory Coffee Alternative on Amazon and with a deal. Thought I'd try it since I have been wanting to drink coffee for its flavor again. And I must say, this Teecino coffee alternative is not bad at all! It doesn't taste like coffee but there's something about this that's similar to coffee. Maybe it's the nuttiness? But then again, maybe I forgot the taste of coffee since I haven't had it for a long time? Either way, this tastes good to me and I consider it close enough to coffee. I add flavored creamer or milk substitute(s) with a little bit of sugar for taste to my liking. For those who are not aware, this must be brewed in order to enjoy. 5 stars for me.

I first tried Teeccino several years ago, when looking for a tasty hot beverage to drink in the morning instead of coffee. I am very sensitive to caffeine, so I never buy regular coffee, but finding a widely available and flavorful decaffeinated coffee is nearly impossible, so I was willing to try Teeccino as an alternative, even though it cost more. I quickly discovered two things: Teeccino is absolutely delicious, better than even the best coffee, and it isn't really more expensive, because I only need to use about have as much to achieve the flavor strength I want. I've tried a number of flavors of Teeccino over the years, and I must say that this hazelnut flavor is among the best. Although I have tended to avoid hazelnut-flavored coffees because the hazelnut flavor is often overpowering (I suspect it's not even derived from actual hazelnuts, but from some chemical), I found that this Teeccino doesn't have an overpowering hazelnut taste--the flavor blends well with the other ingredients to produce a smooth yet complex taste that is slightly sweet and very rich. If you are looking for a coffee alternative, by all means try Teeccino, but don't think of it as "artificial coffee." It is in a class of its own. If you are accustomed to loading your coffee cup with creams and sweeteners to make it taste "right," I suggest trying Teeccino first without all those additives, to discover how delicious it is on its own. (It has a slight natural sweetness all its own.)

Great news for those of us who love hazelnut and coffee flavors but need to cut back on the acid and caffeine . The answer to these issues is medium roast Teeccino Hazelnut Chicory Herbal Coffee, a rich, healthful and aromatic mixture of carob, barley,chicory, dates, figs, and hazelnut flavor. It also contains almonds. Each ingredient is advertised as organic and grown in Europe or America. The directions say to use one rounded tablespoon to brew two cups, but I found this produced coffee too strong for me, so I level each tablespoon and save a bit of money. I feel lucky to have found an excellent organic coffee replacement that doesn't make me cringe. The company also produces other flavors, including mocha and vanilla nut that I plan to try.
