Magene C606 V2 Bike Computer GPS – 2.8" Color Touchscreen, Multi-Scenario ClimbPro, Live Segments, Cycling Dynamics, Offline Navigation & 15-25Hr Battery

I've had this computer now for 6 months and love it. The screen is easy to read, customizable with the app, very colorful and it finds a satellite almost immediately when you start it up. The only downside I've found is loading maps from Ride with GPS. With the Wahoo, you create the map in Ride with GPS and viola - - it shows up on the Wahoo! With the Magene, you need to export and then import it into the One Fit App. I've have a Wahoo Element Roam for 6 years and the Magene does almost everything it does. I had and older Garmin 500 and this beats it hands down. I have each one on a different bike so I trade off every day. I would highly recommend this especially if you don't use maps. And for a price that's less than have of Wahoo or Garmin!

For the price I am pleased and pleasantly surprised with this head unit, battery life is great. I did back to back 7+ hour rides without charging and the battery held up. The touch screen works well even in the rain. I would recommend this head unit after using it for over a year over 10000 miles on it.

Replaced my older Garmin and took a chance. Screen is amazing, works great, and really a game changer to bike gps. Reminds me of hammerhead Karoo entering the market. Feels VERY premium compared to others, seriously. Touch works great, pairs easily. I don’t write many reviews but can’t recommend this enough. Easily beats any other gps under 350$, a contender against Garmin 840, Hammerhead Karoo 2, and Roam v2. For price, this is a no brainer and Magene could easily charge double the price. 10/10

This is amazing for the price. My husband found this for me as I wanted something that worked with my Garmin. It keeps me from looking at my wrist the whole time and I just love it. It is also super easy to see the details at the end of the ride. The battery lasts a super long time, and it took minutes to setup. Love it!

I bought this computer out of sheer curiosity as I'm returning to road cycling and have been testing a lot of the direct to consumer brands instead of paying premium prices for the big names. I've used Garmin devices in the past and am currently using a Stages M200. I connect and ride with a Stages power meter, Coros HR monitor, Garmin Varia rear radar, and smart phone connected for notifications. Build: 10/10. It's a premium feeling product on par with any other device on the market. Mounting it feels more solid than my current computer, and it looks great on the bike. While I don't care for logos, the top Magene logo on the screen is very subtle. Screen: 8/10. While the color and data field layouts are wonderful, I wish it was a bit more contrasty in brighter light. The ambient light auto sensor seems to keep the screen just a hint to dark, but it's 100% functional and I'm likely just being nit picky. Radar Integration 8/10: It functions, but I wish it was a bit more developed like the Wahoo and Stages computers. I really like how those units display a green/yellow/red bar on the edge of the display when cars are present. This unit only displays a lit chevron for each car (yellow further away, red for closer). They don't differentiate for car speed like other units, and the only work around is setting a data box for radar which gives a numerical distance of the car behind you. I use, it's a hint laggy and usually displays 14-16 (feet?) when the car is passing, so while you can use it to determine vehicle speed, it requires a rides to spend more time looking at the screen versus simply looking at the color of the car indicator on Wahoo or Stages computers. That all said, it's spot on and hasn't missed any vehicles. Ease of Use: 10/10. The touch screen is a breeze to use, and the user interface just makes sense. The app works perfectly fine for setup/adjustments, and I've had no problems with adjustments or use while riding. All paired devices paired seamlessly, and do so each time I turn on the computer for new ride. Navigation (untested): I live in an area where I know all the roads and routes I'm going to ride, so I don't use navigation on a day to day basis. I've briefly used the functions and don't see any issues. I've read other reviews where people have trouble loading maps, but have found fixes with new updates or Magene customer service. Battery 9/10: With connected sensors and screen brightness on a fixed 60%, I loose about 6% battery per one ridden. Temps here have been in the 50-60F range. So it seems to be on par or just a hint less than advertised. Wish list: Screen with a hint more contrast, ability to display temperature as a data field, more developed radar integration. But for a fraction of the price of the competition, it's a no brainer. I tend to upgrade computers every few years, and I see no reason why this won't last like my other units. For the weekend warrior or recreational rider, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase again.

The cycle computer is very well made, with the right size, easy-to-use buttons, and a very intuitive touch screen. The battery is long-lasting, and it works very well with the cadence, speed, frequency, and potentiometer sensors. Easy to link. The reports are also very graphic through the application that you download to your PC or cell phone. Cost-benefit winner 100% recommended

Functions as it should except for, I can’t change it from metric to imperial measurement. Also, purchase as a refurbished unit and the description says it was in mint condition, there is a scratch/dent on the top so that nomenclature is incorrect. Otherwise, unit looks great. It’s perfect size, easy to see from on top of the bicycle, it connects every time I turn it on, looks like it’s going to last/be durable tough! I only use it for 15 or 20 minutes and during that time the battery life only went down a percent or two so at that rate, battery life should be excellent. Comes with a companion app it makes it extremely easy to use, set up, and adjust. Much easier with the app to make all those adjustments and to try to do it on the unit itself. I’m gonna do a return on this after the holidays and then I will reevaluate.

I thought about purchasing a Garmin but I really felt like it was too expensive for my needs. After a long search I found this product. I was hesitant because I’ve never heard of this company. I’m very happy with the choice. I got exactly what I needed out of a bike computer.

Un dispositivo sumamente bueno, no tiene nada que pedirles a los de gama alta, lo tengo funcionando en mis dos bicis y no tengo quejas.

Une belle surprise ce compteur. Ayant testé divers marques Wahoo, Hammerhead et même Sigma, je dois dire que le rapport qualité prix est très bon. L'interface est super agréable. Import de fichier GPX sans problème pour créer des itinéraires sans problème. Possibilité de personnaliser les pages via l'application. Ce que j'apprécie le plus c'est que la dernière mise a jour a rajouté la fonction Clim Pro et ça c'est top ! Pour finir, une sortie de 2h a consommé uniquement 10% de batterie. Rapport qualité prix imbattable donc moitié moins cher que ces concurrents.

I took a chance on this havoing got fed up with the battery life on my Hammerhead Karoo 2. I don't miss it at all. The battery life is excellent, I had no issues with pairing sensors and it's great to be able to link Di2 which isn't supported by Karoo. The displays are great and I have found navigation very good, yes you can't automatically synch from strava routes but is it really so hard to upload a gpx file? This has worked fine for me. Fits nicely on existing Garmin mounts and is a nice size. Also good to have WiFi connectivity back again. It doesn't do strava live segments but that's about the only difference I've noticed. Really very pleased and at the price you'd have to really, really want a garmin/wahoo/hammerhead etc to not buy this.

Lo poco que he podido probarlo no tiene nada que envidiar a los alta gama de GPS. He probado a meterle rutas de Strava y te guía a la perfección, cabe destacar que he tenido dos problemas cuando la ruta va y vuelve por el mismo trazado, se vuelve algo loco, seguro que con una actualización se corrige. Es configurable a mas no poder las pantallas de datos. Con la nueva actualización se incorpora clima-pro y los segmentos Strava los cuales te dice que tal vas cuando entras en un segmento, puedes ver si vas por delante o vas más lento que el KOM y si lo prefieres comparar con tu mejor marca. Pd: con el wifi tuve algún quebradero de cabeza ya que no me detectaba el wifi de 2.4 y era porque solo ve los canales comprendidos entre 1-9, con cambiarlos en el router solucionado.

Uso il Magene 606 da alcuni giorni e dopo l'ultimo firmware che ha risolto diversi bugs,gli assegno 4 stelle perché: Il dispositivo è realizzato molto bene,touch screen efficente, visibilità in bici ottima anche con occhiali da sole, comunicazione sia con app onelapfit che con periferiche come cardiofrequenzimetro perfetta, sincronizzazione delle corse effettuate molto rapida. Ampia possibilità di configurazione dei display con molti dati disponibili, indicatore velocità molto leggibile.Pure il comparto navigazione è molto efficente, con l ultimo firmware l'indicazione della pendenza istante ora è molto migliorata inoltre ora è possibile durante un'attività, inserire un percorso di navigazione,o una destinazione da raggiungere con l'aiuto del navigatore che è effettivamente molto ben realizzato. Pure la durata della batteria, con schermo sempre acceso al massimo luminosità è molto elevata , inoltre per utilizzi eccezionalmente lunghi si può impostare una modalità di risparmio. Tutti i dati, sempre con ultimo firmware, appaiono allineati ad altri ciclocomputer di marchio prestigioso. Sembra che il costruttore si impegni parecchio a ottimizzare questo dispositivo con frequenti aggiornamenti firmware.Sarebbe quindi da 5stelle sicuramente perché per la bici da corsa il device è indubbiamente al livello dei marchi più blasonati, unico difetto è la non disponibilità di mappe sentieristiche per la Mountain bike: per come realizzato si può installare anche su MTB, sull'attacco manubrio in modo che in caso di caduta non venga urtato, oltretutto ha un ottimo cordino di sicurezza facile da installare, per cui il magene606 è eccellente su strada anche come navigazione, in MTB non essendo disponibili le mappe dedicate è usabile senza navigazione, se facessero questo upgrade di poter caricare mappe sentieristiche sarebbeanche da 6 stelle
