Makes a lovely base for a stew or for bulking out to make a richer vegetable soup (eg by adding more vegetables, water and a vegetable stock cube). Positively this 4 portion soup mix is low calories, has green markers for fat, saturates and sugar and although amber for salt (1.4g per serving) I like that this soup mix isn't any where near as salty as I remember Knorr soups used to be.

Great taste and good value from Knorr. Full of flavour and easy to keep on hand for making up a big pot of soup. Nice to change it up sometimes and add a bit of chicken etc. Definitely a family favourite.

These soups have been around years. I find them better on the second day. To make I boil the water and add the soup mix and whisk while cutting the heat. Add chilli flakes, pepper, Lidl butter with salt crystals and stir vigorously. Cover and leave so the vegetables rehydrate. Warm and serve a good few hours later. If you have some left. Save for next day and reheat with a mug of boiling water, a ¼ of an Oxo cube and enjoy.
