If you use it for adding extra calories then yes it helps. If its just going to replace a meal or snack then no. It’ll just maintain your weight.

How do I return this item? It is way too high in sugar is for me to eat.

Buy a different product. Boost literally makes one gor diabetics with less sugar. Stop complaining about the sugar and ruining a great product for everyone. They cut the sugars and now it SUCKS. ALL BECAUSE PPL CAN'T BE BOTHERED TO TAKE A FEW EXTRA SECONDS AND LOOK AT THEIR OTHER PRODUCTS OR READ THE NUTRITION FACTS BEFORE THEY BUY IT. SO FRUSTRATING. what is the taste difference between chocolate sensation and rich chocolate?

How do you open the bottle? My mom has a difficult time with her hands. She can do the pull down strip, but has problem turning the cap.

Worst feature of Boost! I have seen 2 different types of Boost bottles, with different ways of opening. The ones we have now, you have to peel down a plastic shroud surrounding the cap, which is not all that easy, and after exposing the cap completely, it unscrews fairly easily for me. If she lacks the strength to unscrew the cap, I would suggest getting her a pair of slip-joint pliers to keep in her drawer...they would self-adjust to the lid, and it would be no problem to unscrew the lid with them. There are rubber gizmos marketed to unscrew lids, but most would be harder to use than the pliers. The other Boost bottle is fairly easy to unscrew, but then you have that infernal seal under the lid you have to peel off, if you can. Boost needs to find a better way. Try the (medium size) slip-joint pliers....I think it will solve her problem.

Best tasting of all the nutrient drinks

I have tried many different nutrient rich drinks and this chocolate flavor is the best. Tastes like chocolate milk. Not too grainy. Doesnt upset my stomach. The high calorie boost is not as drinkable as this one is. Packaging has always been great, have ordered multiple times.

A healthy "boost"!

Boost was suggested to me by my doctor and several others.. Keeping it by your bedside can give you a "boost" should one wake, but need more sleep. Just drink a bottle of Boost and it satisfies your need and sleep comes easily then.
