As these are called thermal underwear I was expecting it to be cold gear that I can wear on my run when it's freezing out. It's not really like that, though. I can wear this out on my runs when it's in the 30s or 40s out, but I'll need something else for anything colder than that. Fits well and feels nice otherwise.

I am always apprehensive when purchasing clothing online as you never know if the sizing gonna fit you or not. I am pleased to report that the sizing works perfectly for my dimensions in the large size.Although, I have several other thermal tops I could wear, I keep finding myself choosing little donkey Andy. That is due to the fact that the fabric is very skin friendly. Some of my other thermal shirts are itchy and don’t do as well at moisture management and thermal regulation. Little donkey Andy excels in all those areas.Furthermore, the weight of the shirt makes it a perfect base layer.. If it’s really cold I wear it under a sweatshirt with a zippered jacket on top. If I start to get too warm I just unzip the coat. I definitely recommend it for the quality and performance of the fabric and standard sizing.

I have worn this wool base layer several times now as I work outside. It is comfortable, warm and fits really well. It is a great base layer. I typically use two or three base layers for working outside or fishing in the winter. I am very happy with the Little Donkey underwear layers, definitely keeps me warm.

This Little Donkey Andy wool t-shirt is a great base layer. We were surprised at how soft and smooth the fabric is! It's super lightweight and not a bit scratchy. My husband says for the weight of the material, it's warm - having the warmth of a thicker knit, but without the weight. It's true to size, but we did cold wash and line dry. Only thing he didn't love was the size of the inner side tags. Would be nice if it was taggless.

My husband wore this out in the upper 30s to low 40s on a cloudy day to do some heavy yard work. He wore it as a base layer with just a fleece on top. He said he did get to sweating but he stayed dry with this base layer and he stayed warm. He's currently sitting in the house with this base layer as a shirt. He says it's comfortable, soft, smooth, and fits well. He says it's everything he wants in a base layer. It will go with us on our next cool-cold weather camping/hiking trip. I washed it on a quick wash and hung it dry before he wore it (all wool gets hung dry). It washed well. Recommend.
