Love this crooked birdhouse
I didn't actually buy this birdhouse to use for birds. I bought it to make a crooked Halloween house as part of a Halloween village, to paint and decoupage using various orange, black, and purple patterns. Being crooked, it has a sort of Witch House look. Really fun.

that you cannot stain wood glue
you would think that by now the manufactures would come up a glue that can be stained.all my bird houses marred because blotchy appearance

No whole for the birds to get in.
Very cute. Has a door in the back to remove old nests which is convenient.BUT if you take a close look, the only way a bird can get in the house is through that back door! They put a window in the front with cross bars so the birds can’t get in!! I had to cut the cross bars out. Now for the bad news... the roof doesn’t stay on if you try to use it outside. Bought 2 and both fell apart. Glue will not hold. Decorative inside use only
