Best on the market!
It is the best ‘gel’ on the market. I fuelled with this for my marathon training and the marathon. I had no stomach issues and it has a lovely taste. It’s 100% natural, too so no nasty chemicals and derivatives!

The Best Gel Out There
Absolutely the best gel there is for running!I used to struggle consuming running gels, their consistency was frankly awful and I hated using them until I found these little gems! The consistency isn't thick at all, it tastes so good (writing this review is really making me want to eat one right now) they provide you with everything you need to get you through your exercise and don't upset your stomach! As a seasoned runner I've tried a lot of gels and these are the only ones I use now!Love love love them!

Acquired Taste...
Reviews on these are always subjective and everyone has different tastes. For me, this didn't seem to do a lot for energy or anything on my cycle. It is small and easy to digest while exercising which is good. The taste is, interesting. I like maple syrup but this tasted a little off... Not too bad but there was something not quite right... They're also quite expensive as you only get the 1 packet for £2.79 which to me is a bit of a rip off...It's up to you if you want to try it. You may enjoy it and find some benefit.

Tasty maple syrup in a handy portion tube
I like to have some energy gels or high carbohydrate snacks when golfing. It's important to keep your energy levels up, especially when playing sports for a few hours or more. This is a very handy single portion, individually sealed tube. It fits easily in a golf bag or pocket of your clothes. The pouch rips open without too much hassle but could benefit from an easy tear line.Content wise this is maple syrup and salt ... Nothing else. Just maple syrup and salt....1 portion gives 24g of carbohydrates/ 97 kcal if you are well stocked up on carbs before exercise this can be a good little pick me up and is also useful if you are trying to avoid weight gain during exercise. I did find when i found myself lagging this was good for emergencies but i am roughly 90kg and found the energy didn't go far. If you are lighter and leaner than me this would probably have more of a lift for you.Taste wise this is delicious. The salt calms down the syrup and it has lots of flavour. Very tasty. The brand is a little misleading as there is 0 protein, but set that aside and treat it as an energy pack and it is pretty good. Tasty and easy to use and will give you a quick lift without any belly cramps from excess sugar.Value is terrible. At time of review 1 tube for £2.79 is not good. Quality is good though and if purchasing the multipack it works out a little better. You are definitely paying for the convenience. Thank you for reading my review. I hope you found it useful

Energy Booster with a Natural Twist
This is a great option for people into endurance sports. It's 100% natural and vegan, making it a guilt-free fuel for runners and cyclists. As someone who often struggles with stomach issues during long workouts, I found this gel surprisingly gentle on the gut.* Natural Ingredients: Just Canadian maple syrup and sea salt. No stomach-upsetting preservatives or sweeteners.* Energy Boost: With 24g of carbs per pack, it kept my energy levels steady without any crashes.* Taste: The light maple syrup flavor is a pleasant change from overly sweet gels. It's thick, but not too heavy, making it easy to consume on the go.* Texture: While it's not as thick as some gels, it might still be a bit too syrupy for some tastes.* Price: A bit on the pricey side compared to other energy gels.* Is it easy to digest? Absolutely, no cramps or issues!* Is it filling? It's more about energy than fullness, but it does the job during long sessions.* How does it taste? Think of a milder, less sweet maple syrup. Quite palatable! The Protein Rebel Maple Ignite Gel is a solid choice for endurance athletes. It's natural, effective, and stomach-friendly. While the texture and price might be a minor drawback, the benefits far outweigh these points. It's a reliable source of energy that keeps you going without any digestive drama.

Not For Me
This item comes as a very handy single portion and within a convenient sealed tube. Produced with sports and energy carbohydrate replenishment in mind, it’s potentially ideal for a quick boost or hit.I have a very sweet tooth but I found this maple syrup gel rather sickly and it didn’t sit well in the mouth or stomach. The taste and cloying nature of the product lingers and I detected a rather clinical or chemical element. Rather expensive, it’s not for me but possibly just not to my taste.

Great tasting energy gel
I loved the taste of this gel - so much more palatable than many of the sickly sweet gels on the market.it reminded me a little of eating millionaire shortbread - with a hint of peanut. It's really moreish. The gel itself is easily digestible during exercise and the packaging easy to open, with a clever tapered tab which makes it easy to eat.The only criticism would be that the gel pack is a little on the small side which means you don't get much gel in one pack.
