I love the writing style Lysa uses. Very easy to understand. Very passionate about the Lord. Clear, precise, and personal. It's very hard for me to put this book down. I think the thing I love the most about this book, other than how everything is built on scripture,, is that it strengthens the urge in my heart to submerge myself in my Bible and in the true love that God has for me.

Super powerful devotional. Great author to help women on Christian journey. Super relatable to all women and meets you where you’re at.

My daughter gave me this one year as a birthday gift. I have many devotional books on the shelf but THIS ONE has been read over and over. Each time I get something different from the repeat reading. I have since then purchased this very one for gifts for friends. It is perfect for a young woman, mom, middle aged going through life stages and again just as loved by a 77 year old!

This book, this series of books/devotionals is life changing. I can’t explain. It’s like she writes for me. I am millennial, no kids, and Black if any of that matters to you and it just resonates and speaks to my soul. I bought the Blue one from Target ( can’t think of many right now) & had to keep buying more. Thank you so much Lysa.

Update: This devotional continues to inspire and comfort me. Time has made the ache much less, but her words, guided by the Spirit of God, find a way to the areas that still need much healing. Every woman going through a season of great sorrow should purchase this. Original Review: This devotional surpassed my expectations. As I have been in a terrible season for almost a year now her words have helped me in my spiritual growth and character growth. I have given my life to Jesus, and great pain led me to him. Reading these devotionals has helped me not feel so alone on my journey. God has inspired Lysa and is using her as a tool for His glory. She is truly a part of His mission. Her work is beautiful. If your season is suffocating you, don’t hesitate, buy this!
