ABSOLUTE GREAT BUY!!!
I had purchased this to sponge paint over a dark silver metallic accent wall! I needed to brighten it up as my MoM was my happy with how dark the Silver Metallic paint looked once applied. Her exact words was that it looked like an concrete garage floor. We had use a Metallic Tones paint by PPG. I had a feeling she was not going to like however I did because I knew that if I sponged a metallic pearl over the โconcrete garage floorโ as she called it she would absolutely love it!!! My go to metallic pearl has always been deco art textured metallic pearl but I knew this paint was to thick to use for sponging. On a whim I came across this Rustoleum Pearl and I was beyond impressed with the color and the viscosity of this paint! I would consider it a medium viscosity! I did not add any glaze as most do when sponging and I think it came out great and most importantly my MOM ABSOLUTELY LOVES her new accent walls! I am not completely satisfied not because of this color but because I am going to add some metallic deco art silver and I am also going to add some navy blue leafing foil to it (navy blue is her accents in throw pillows)! I did order the navy blue foil sheets from Amazon as well and will be adding the final detail during the first week of February 2022 & will make sure to update my photos for you to see! The only thing I need to learn how to do is capture the beauty of these gleaming metallic walls with a camera to show the world one of the endless possibilities you can create with this beautiful pigmented paint! Oh and I forgot to add I did two walls one 15โx11โ, 25x11โ and still have half a container left!

Good stuff for both in/out-side use.
A good product. Not too thick, just right without thinning. I'm dipping items, so it's perfect for my needs. Dries fast, low odor. Time will tell on durability, but 2 coats is recommended in my experience.

... using this paint for several years now and it's great. I have painted metal coffee tables
I have been using this paint for several years now and it's great. I have painted metal coffee tables, wooden bedroom sets, kitchen and bathroom cabinets and the results are great. Lowes used to sell it but was discontinued so thankfully you can buy it on Amazon. The large container 1qt. is about $25.00 so you may think it's expensive that's why it didn't do well at Lowes but it goes a long way. It's like buying a gallon of paint. It spreads very smooth and you can use an average brush. It is very durable and dries quickly. It is the only paint I will buy for my home projects. I recently painted all my kitchen cabinets and it looks great in the pearl white color. They do make a clear coat but I never used it, this piant has never chipped or rubbed off. The colors are great with the metallic accents. I have used the pearl white, silver, and gold. I recommend buying the small 2 oz. first to see the true color. I highly recommend this paint.

Takes some technique
Overall, I'm thrilled with this paint. It's high-quality, thick, and shimmery. The champagne color is exactly what I would expect - something between gold and silver. Lovely and metallic. I started my project with a coat of plain latex paint I had lying around to get the dark wood covered and get closer to the champagne color of this paint. This covered really well, and I was happy with just two coats (plus some touch up areas), but it took some serious attention to detail. Even though I used a high density foam roller meant for smooth surfaces, the paint is so thick that it goes on textured. That was advertised, so I can't really be upset about it. To get a smoother texture, I rolled the paint on to distribute it, then took a high-quality paintbrush in long, controlled strokes to smooth the roller texture. The paint was so thick that trying to simply brush it on and skip the roller was taking forever. It's not glass-smooth, but I much prefer the brushed texture to the mottled bumpy texture I got with the roller.

Great paint - excellent match/complement to brass metal
This paint, while fairly pricey (the trial size was not available when I purchased this), was exactly what I was looking for. I made a fire engine for my nephew out of wood and brass, and wanted a paint that matched the brass as closely as possible. Rust-Oleum Metallic Accents in "soft gold" fit the bill admirably (see photos). In addition, the paint covers very, very well - I was using it to paint over red, which is a notoriously difficult color to cover over in one coat. UPDATE 11/20/2019 I still use this very same container to accent some of my projects - so it has remained usable for two years! It is a VERY thick paint. I used brushes for my project, and I imagine a roller would work to apply this paint as well, but I can't imagine getting it thin enough to run through a sprayer without ruining the covering properties of the paint and severely impacting the quality of the finished project. Overall, I am incredibly pleased with the paint - though I do wish the price was more reasonable. Finally - it has been over a year since the fire engine project was completed - and I just today opened the paint to use a bit, and it seemed to be just as fresh as it was the day I first opened it in November 2016. I credit the container and the tight-sealing screw-top with preserving the paint. I kept the foam disk that came inside the lid, which also probably helped. So, while I paid quite a bit for the paint, it was a pleasant surprise to realize that it has a very long shelf life, and therefore I can squeeze out a little more bang for my buck.

Perfect Pewter
I bought some moulding for a frame around a fossil tiled backsplash for a dry bar, which's has nickel hardware. I bring that up because a wood frame would have been too dark and silver would have been too polished a look. I searched for iron metallic, but it came up too industrial, modern, and dark. I was shooting for an aged-looking frame, sans caulking, kind of a steam punk, old looking frame. So, I painted two coats of Jolie chalk paint in graphite on the frame. I looked for Jolie metallics but they were too bright. The pewter gave a nice depth without going black and heavy. I used a chalk paint brush to spread the pewter, but tamped the brush of excess to get a nice coverage without heavy brush marks, but still getting consistent coverage. Itโs Beautiful and I havenโt added the clear wax yet, but will. Iโve used the wax on other projects and itโs so much better than clear coat. The small pot covered about 18โ of 2โ wide moulding and thereโs enough for a second coat, but Iโm thinking the one coat is enough. I tried using the pewter without the base coat and straight onto wood but it didnโt have the depth and beautiful finish, so a proper base coat is needed.

A Touch of Glam!
This is a beautiful paint that goes on smoothly and looks great! It does take several coats to get the depth desired, but the result is worth the time and effort! Also, when applying it is helpful to keep the brushstrokes in the same direction. This is the second color I have bought in this paint because I loved it so much.

Brown toned gold
This paint saved my marriage. Seriously we had tried so many other brands and to no avail, everything else was not the right color. After wasting so much money and endless stressful arguments, I found this paint. Life saver! It truly looks amazing. Great coverage, and a wonderfully deep tone of gold that isn't yellowy or greenish... this is the real deal for someone looking for a metallic paint with a brown gold tone. Look no further. Packaging was great as well. No leaks. 2 quarts covered about 250 Sq feet of wall space. I would recommend this paint to anyone.

Worth it
Good coverage and easy to work with. Only took two coats. Make sure you sand the surface lightly to get good contact. Lovely stuff. These the side tables only used 1/3 of the jar!

Great Metal Paint
I had changed all the door handles to brushed nickel but the hinges were still coloured brass, so I got this paint to coordinate the hinges with the handles. It was a perfect match and went on so easily. This small bottle was more than enough. Love this paint!
