Screw Thread End is American Standard 3/4" ACME, Sturdy Feel - Bargain Price
Recently purchased the DIY Detail brand Perfectly Safe Brush - Head Only (Australia). Prior to getting it I'd checked U.S sites for the type of screw thread it had & U.S Standard 3/4" ACME popped up a lot. I didn't wan't to take the chance Australian "Universal" in our hardware stores would be identical (google didn't think it was) so purchased this Bates Extension pole 1.4ft - 3ft which had to come from the U.S. Although the description for it didn't state Standard US or ACME, it was the correct thread & screwed on securely. The Pole diameter is excellent & feels sturdy in use. Delivery was a lot faster than quoted.This length pole allows me to reach just over half way on my Forester roof.

Great for frequent painters
This extension pole is much lighter than others I’ve used, and that’s a big win for me as someone who paints regularly. When you’re doing ceilings or high walls, the weight really matters. This one reduces arm strain and makes long painting sessions way more manageable. The grip feels comfortable and it stays sturdy even when fully extended.
