So far I’m happy with this product. Installation: This unit was mostly straightforward to install using videos and reviews available online. There are a few mistakes that can slow things down. First - be very careful to not strip the bracket screws when removing the starlink black box. The bracket needs to be removed for the box to fit back in. Use the correct size Phillips driver or it will strip the screw head. Second, to use the OEM USB port make sure to order the adaptor mentioned in the other reviews and plug it into the USB2 connector on this head unit (not USB1). Otherwise the connectors are impossible to mess up because they only fit in one place. Whole process took me about 3 hours including research and prep. Performance: so far the head unit seems to be good. It can play 1080p videos from YouTube, access the google play store, and gets great sound quality. The bluetooth wireless airplay sometimes disconnects randomly but is strong most of the time. I’m told the mic quality is not very good on calls. Service: Cheney is very responsive and extremely helpful. I messaged with 2 questions and the team was able to help me fix them within minutes. Overall the product looks good and performs well.

Great CarPlay Stereo for my Subaru Legacy 2016, installations is easy just having some common sense and a little bit of patience, all perfect from the wheel controls you can customize each of the buttons in a very easy way, GPS working all good, all connections are really plug and play I don’t have previous experience and I could do it in 40 mins. Just get some tools to disassemble from amazon for les than 5usd so you don’t scratch your cockpit, also I got a USB SU to USBA adapter for less than 10usd and USB ports from factory are working just perfect. I am susprised with the customization options I have in this audio system, much better than my old stock radio, even quality of the sound is better and stronger. BTW yes, there are some themes where you can change to miles/hr. The only detail I had on my side is that I forgot to connect some wires at the beginning but Cheney from costumer service was great and supported with detailed info to solve that very fast. Definitely I can recommend this product based on my experience!!!

***BEWARE*** After HOURS of troubleshooting with Cheney, I have personally deduced that this batch of stereo is faulty. It does not connect most times to bluetooth, or directly connected to USB. Radio was replaced and experienced the same issues. This is not coincidence. Connections were tested on both a Samsung S23 and S25 Ultra...same weak connection results. Support was good until it wasn't. I feel as if they knew this batch was faulty, but strung me along "supporting" me, but pushing me past the return window. I had to have Amazon step in and refund. ------------ I am giving this head unit a five-star review. However I wish it could be 4.9. In retrospect this unit was a very easy install in my 2017 Subaru Outback. Once installed the unit is very snappy, it looks great, it functions very very well. But there are a few caveats... There seems to be an issue with what I suspect my exact phone model Samsung Galaxy s23 Ultra where it will not consistently connect via Bluetooth. This is how I wanted to use my system, I just hop in my car, put my phone on the charger, and we're good to go. After many hours of troubleshooting, it was determined that this will function as I wanted, But I had to connect via wired USB. I am the kind of guy who likes to cut out steps and wants things to be seamless. While it is still an inconvenience, through it all it's a very minor one that I can learn to live with. Additionally, Cheney was relentless and I say this in a good way. He was very helpful, attentive, and really helps me a lot. Overall I love this system, It's just that one quirk that I wish we could have made work that would have made this 5.0. So if you read my review and you have an S23 Ultra... Take note and avoid the headaches, plug it in with a USB cord lol!

Good quality item. Didn't install though, had to return for full refund because traded in my old subaru for new one. Had no problem with refund which is also good...

Works great installation a breeze. Quick and snappy looks fancy af after installing duduOS I'm loving it. overall great budget with mic and 4g adapter's included alot of places would sell it as optional..

It can get very overwhelming to install but with patience it can be done To anyone doing them selves, make sure all connections are in and have a strong Wifi signal to do any updates or setup Seller is prompt to message with any answers you may need Wish there was more instructions OEM Steering controls and back up camera works perfectly with unit Will recommend

I was afraid of losing functionnalities, but the product works as advertised. The only (very small for me) drawback is the fact that you can't reuse the existing USB port without buying an adapter. On my non premium Outback 2015 I only had to plug a few cables, and everything worked perfectly. Android Auto sometimes has troubles communicating wirelessly with my Android cell phone, but it is quite a common issue. The screen is sharp and the system is responsive enough. All in all I am very pleased with this purchase.

Love the head unit. A little modification required, super easy to install yourself. Amazing customer service, super easy to deal with.
