Great for the price, but will crack after a few burns. So cheap it almost makes it worth it

I do a lot of wood cutting with my D1 pro so the lenses tend to get dirty and sometimes even damaged if I don't clean them as much as I should.. Completely my fault. There are two different types of housing for your lenses, one has the lens glued in place and one has the lens where you can freely take it out and replace it.... These lenses work on the latter. You will know right away which kind you have when you unscrew the lens holder. Overall these are great value for the price and having 10 on hand is amazing. Just make sure you look at compatibility before you buy.

These are not a wear item, so you shouldn’t have to replace them very often. That said, if you’re not using air assist and doing a lot of work with smoky materials like wood; you can get a buildup of smoke products on the lens. This is a great stock of replacements that should keep you going for many years.

Does the lens fit? Yes. What they dont tell you though is that you need to physically smash the lens to get it to release from the retainer. The lens then needs to be glued to the retainer. What glue do you need? The hell do i know? Make sure the lens you buy has the brass/copper assembly, not just a lens.
