Finally, an Anti-Static Grinder That Actually Works!
I bought this Shardor Conical Burr Grinder specifically for my French press because I needed a consistent coarse grind without the mess. I previously tried a more expensive unit based on brand name alone, but I had to return it immediately—it was a "dust nightmare" where grinds clung to everything and even leaked out of the machine. This Shardor unit is a game-changer. The anti-static technology is the real deal. As you can see in my video, the hopper and catch container stay remarkably clean. No more coffee "snow" all over my counters. Pros: Truly Anti-Static: The grounds dump out completely clean every time. Coarse Grind Consistency: Perfect for a French press. Easy to Use: Quick and relatively quiet. One minor note: The catch container capacity is a bit small. I use 96g for my brew, and it will overflow if I do it all at once. I’ve found that splitting it into two quick 20-second batches works perfectly. Highly recommended for anyone tired of the static mess!

works well + is clean + attractive look = great value for money
Pretty, functional, and clean. I mainly use the grinder for french press and pour-overs. Things I like about this coffee grinder: 1) Price. Very reasonable compared to other burr grinders. I had my initial doubts about the brand. 2) Looks. It doesn't feel cheap. We'll see if it lasts, but for now, it looks great on my countertop. 3) Clean. I'm surprised at how clean the area around the grinder bottom is. I had a B@r@tza Enc0re for years, and I always had to clean up after a grind. When using the grinding chamber, the base remains clean, and the countertop is clean. Their anti-static magic seems to mostly work well, without spraying the beans. 4) Display. The digital display is clear, and I've figured out that at a couple of settings for coarse grind for my french press, around 9 or 10 seconds works just right, without having to leave anything in the chamber. I do wish it would remember my timer setting would stay every time I turn it on, but it's ok, I can live with that. 5) Grind. It's consistent, as far as I can tell. No complaints here. I could do without the beeping (when turning on and when adjusting the timer). I don't see the need for that noise, and it's clear that the grinder is on when the display lights up. IMHO Shardor should completely get rid of those sounds. On a side note, I ran an AI analysis of several sub-$100 grinders, primarily for the purpose of french press, so it had to be good at coarse grinds. Shardor scored at the top for price/quality. Let's hope the good grinding continues

Great purchase, anti-static is a must!
Highly recommend this grinder. Bought and been using it weekly for about 2 months. I cannot stress the importance of the anti-static feature! It hasn't clogged or jammed once. Great value for the money. No weird chemical odors or anything upon opening. Caring for it as recommended. Running it with recommended run times and giving the chosen grind time of down time between each grind. Seems of high quality and durability thus far. Is about as loud as one would expect a bean grinder to be- not obnoxious and not "quiet". Maybe a 6.5 out of 10 volume level for a small appliance's maximum volume.

Excellent product with a couple of minor flaws that would not stop me from buying it again
Pro: I really like the digital timer, it makes grinding daily much more precise. I have a cup one from mochamaster and only grind for one cup at a time, this is a great product for that use, the grind size is very consistent. The anti static works well, but dont ever wash it if you want it to stay anti static (wipe only). It is also VERY quiet, I am impressed at how quiet it is compared to my previous version. Con: The container is WAY too small if you are grinding for a 10 or 12 cup machine (why 4 stars not 5) you will need multiple batches, there is zero reason for it to be so small there is plenty of unused room on the base for the container to be wider. The hopper is also a bit smaller than I like, I have to fill it too often. It also has an annoying rubberish plug to seal it up that seems pointless and it just gets in the way, I removed it almost instantly. This is my second conical grinder from shardor, the first one had an issue, and shardor was great about getting a replacement. Very good customer service. Other than the first "con" the rest are nitpicking. Im quite happy with is and would not hesitate to buy it again, from previous experience with customer service from these folks they are really excellent at standing behind their products and take care of their customers, I wish more companies were as good.

Solid for the price!
When I was frantically searching for a grinder to replace one that was broken on arrival, this one caught my eye. It was a little bit more expensive, but it offered more grind settings and that had my attention. So I sprang for it, because it looked good and would arrive the next day. When it arrived, I cleaned it up, got it set up, set it somewhere in the espresso range, and tried to pull a shot. I was somewhat disappointed. My machine choked. I adjusted it a few notches coarser. Same deal. So, buyer's note for people planning on using this for espresso? You're looking to sit somewhere closer to the drip range unless you like drinking choked shots. I've also used it for a few batch brews, and had no issues with that. Just know you're gonna have to go coarser than you think you'll need to in order to get that more traditional drip coffee grind. Either that, or I just got super "lucky" with mine. It's not a big deal for me though. It's still fairly consistent and couldn't be much easier to use unless it measured my grinds for me! (It doesn't, but you can set the duration of your grind if you grind by time) As far as the collection container, it's a solid thing. I mean, the entire thing feels solid! You get some stainless steel elements, a receptive touch panel, your hopper is good, it's all very decent for the price. But, back to the canister, your grounds don't stick to it much at all and it actually catches everything! The tolerance between the chute and the canister's lid is tight enough to avoid spillage entirely, at least in my experience. Quick aside, there is a noticeable plastic aroma when you first open the box. Quick wash with soapy water takes care of that, and it doesn't leech into your coffee at all. Of course, it might somewhat if you filled the hopper and let beans sit in there, but I don't. I grind by weight. Another note about that hopper that's pretty cool. If you WERE keeping it full of beans, there's a trapdoor on the bottom that snaps shut if you take the hopper off, so you're not accidentally dumping it. There are still beans left over beneath where the door sits, so I'd still suggest you wait till the grinder is empty before trying to take the hopper off for cleaning, but it's a nice touch that it's there! One minor, case-specific complaint is that this grinder produces more fines than I'd like. It's not fine city out here, but there are definitely enough to impact your shot if you're grinding for espresso. There's a bit more crushing than cutting happening in there, I suspect, so keep that in mind. This isn't a prosumer-level grinder. HOWEVER, it is definitely suitable! My shots are still drinkable, just definitely more bitter than I'd like especially on the finish. Either way though, I don't regret the purchase and for the money, I doubt you would either!

Highly versatile, precise, and looks great!
If you are looking to upgrade your home coffee game, this grinder is a great entry-level option. The grind consistency achieved with the conical burrs is far superior to traditional blade grinders. It is incredibly easy to set the exact time using the digital panel, and the 48 grind settings allow you to dial in the perfect texture for any brewing method. I have tested it for espresso, French press, and pour-overs, and the results have been excellent. Plus, it looks great on the kitchen counter. It absolutely serves its purpose

Great product for a reasonable price =Value
This was bought to replace a a Mr. Coffee model. The first thing I looked for was to upgrade was a conical bur not a "ring" type grinder. This unit is far better than the previous unit: It's more quiet, faster and definitely delivers a more consistent grind. The anti-static treatment of the bin is also a nice upgrade. Disassembly for periodic cleaning is also far easier than the previous unit. I would buy this again, but it looks like it will be quite a while before that time comes

So far so good!
I just bought this grinder to use for making my own espresso grounds since the grounds I was buying were going stale before I could use them all. I have only used this a handful of times, but I mostly find it to be really decent quality, and very easy to use! It is still a bit noisy for my taste, but I will also say that I don't have to plug my ears to use it like I did with my previous coffee grinder. It does a GREAT job grinding really fine espresso, in fact it does almost too good a job, and I had to set the fineness lower than the suggested setting because my espresso machine was not strong enough to push the water through the finer grounds. I only grind as much as I need at one time, but from the looks of it the hopper would probably hold an average small bag of coffee beans in the top without any trouble. My only REAL complaint - and the reason for four stars - is that the container that catches the grounds does not fit snugly in place and actually vibrates forward and misaligns, which seems like a pretty obvious design flaw considering you wouldn't be able to start the grinder and walk away. I have to stand and hold the catching container the whole time in order for it to stay put. That being said, it grinds quickly (I do about 3 tablespoons of beans at a time in 25-30 seconds) so waiting and holding the bottom receptacle is a small price to pay for how well this works. It does exactly what I needed it to do, and only took me about three tries to get everything just right, so the price is very reasonable compared to a lot of similar products.

I like it.
Six months of grinding morning coffee beans and it’s working great. A little noisy in operation, but it doesn’t have to run very long so it’s not a big deal, the rest of the time it sits very quietly and patiently on the counter top.

Very impressed
Thiis is my third Shardor coffee grinder. My original was starting to age out after 5 years, nothing serious , just tired. I bought and returned the model that grinds a minumum of two cups because that was simply too much coffee for one morning. This model grinds precisely enough coffee at the 10 second setting to fill my Kcup. Its much quieter than any other grinder and the nonstatic system keeps the ground coffee where it belongs. The device that receives the ground coffee is rectangular so I can transfer it directly to the Kcup without using a spoon and spilling it.
