OtterBox Galaxy Z Fold5 DEFENDER SERIES XT Case - BLACK, screenless, rugged hinge protection, lanyard attachment, PowerShare and wireless charging compatible

A little lighter and thinner than the older Defender Series cases I have purchased before, and yes, there isn't a holster but I still love it. The sides provide a good grip and definitely still better, quality wise, than other cases out there right now. Wish they came in more colors to switch it up a bit.

Some of the reviews say this isn't of good quality, I, however, disagree. Its made well. Flips open and closed smoothly. I mean, don't play with it to test it's durabily. Because obviously you *could* break it. I dropped my phone twice with this case, once while running and it flumg out my pocket, and it held up nicely. It does it's job well. 11/24 update: The hinge where the front cover connects broke, however, otterbox made it right with a painless replacement; hence why I will not be removing a star.

I bought this case back in February 2024 and yes — it is expensive. However, it absolutely does what it’s supposed to do. I’ve dropped my Galaxy Z Fold5 pretty hard more than once, and every single time my phone came out in perfect condition. The case itself took the damage (cracked twice), but the phone was still 10/10, which honestly says everything. I did have to use OtterBox’s limited warranty to get replacements, and while waiting on them was annoying, they did honor it. This case doesn’t break from every drop, but when it does, it’s clearly sacrificing itself to protect the phone — and that’s what matters. The hinge protection is solid, it doesn’t interfere with folding, and wireless charging still works fine. I originally bought the purple (Mulberry Muse), but almost a year later it looks like only black is available now. Pricey? Yes. But if you actually want to protect a Fold phone, this case does exactly that.

Very sturdy case and looks good. Easy to grip and my favorite feature is that it is a single-body case, not a two-piece case as in my experience the two-piece case doesn't last with the flimsy front panel.

Light weight and is holding up pretty well so far. My phone feel from my pocket and tumbled down a hill. I knew my phone was broke. I knew it came out of the case. When it picked my phone up. It was protected by the case and it gripped it tight enough to hold on to it.it still works like it was new only have a few dings in the case.
