Beautiful book full of great pictures
The media could not be loaded. This book is absolutely beautiful. It's huge, over 6 lbs, and packed full of art, photos and information about Keith Haring. If you're a Haring fan, or considering giving it to someone who is, I can't suggest it enough!

Poptastic
Literally everything you'd want to see or read about Keith Haring is in this massive book. Great layout, super comprehensive, beautiful photos, and some excellent writing about a much-loved artist. It closes with a great interview I remember reading at the time. If, like me, you lived in Manhattan in the 80's and remember seeing those ubiquitous chalk drawings in the subway, or bought some merch at the Pop Shop off Houstoun, or checked out new showings at Shafrazi, this book is mandatory. If you weren't there and have just a fleeting interest in Haring, this book is also mandatory because it includes everything you'd want to know or look at.

Outstanding art book!
If you are looking for an art book that details the life story of Keith Haring and the New York Art world in the 1980s this book brings it home. Beautiful photography, on heavy glossy paper with many images of the artist and pictures, I would guess, of all his major, and minor works. There are even a number of fold-out pages. I have not read it yet, but looked over a number of passages and thought this book is about telling his story without the fuller of art speak. Plus, the price for the 500-page book is also outstanding.

Simply amazing!
I first noticed this book in the shop in the Neue Nationalgalerie in Berlin. I was immediately drawn to it. Not only because it stood out from the others with it's size and pink cover, but because it is a beautifully made book. I stood there turning page after page and in the end I was so sorry I had not room enough to take it with me (being of considerable weight and size). It is a book that allegedly Keith had in mind to realize - a book that would document his career through his works. And the people who realized have done it with so much love that it is obvious and only appropriate for the name and deed of the artist whose own religion (in his own words) was: "touching people's lives in a positive way".This is a book that will have you returning to it every once in a while and always fill you with so much energy. A book that would move you in a positive way.
