Great game with new great features. Easy to assemble, easy to learn new options, easy to play. Unfolds for play, folds compactly for storage. Packaging was banged up a bit but item itself was undamaged; suspect rough in-transit handling so not seller's fault.

My husband plays this with our granddaughter. They both love it and all of the noise it produces. I stay in another room while they play because I don't like the noise. But, for the players, it's great! There are about 40 pre-programmed set ups to choose from or you can create your own custom placement. Pre-programmed it pretty fast to set up but the custom placement take far too long for me. (I generally set the game up for the two of them.) I guess the sound effects are pretty good. You fire (with a sound) and if it's a hit there is a sound, and if there is a miss there is a sound. There is verbal feedback when you've sunk an opponents ship. It is possible to turn down the sound, I think I'll have to take the time to figure that out next time they play.I do think this electronic Battleship is more exciting than the old paper and pencil game.

Everything with this board game is as I remember and then some with the extra modern features.At some point, my wife told me that she always wanted this game for Christmas but she never got one.She loved it!
