Mi Comida Latina: Vibrant, Fresh, Simple, Authentic

I am so pleased with this purchase. Each and every page is so detailed and pretty with little hand drawn pictures. On many of the pages the author shares how they came about the recipe which adds an extra special authentic touch! I love the little bookmark and extra recipe postcard that comes with this product. Clear, inciteful instructions for a great range of recipes. It only arrived yesterday and I have so far made the empanadas and they were incredible! Looking forward to trying something else today. Highly recommend.

one of the most beautiful cookery books I have ever seen , the illustrations are amazing and it would make a perfect gift for any one who loves Mexican/ south American food. I must keep it away from the cooker top as I would hate to spoil its perfection.

This book is all done in beautiful watercolor illustrations. The book is so lovely you almost don't want to read the recipes for fear of smudging the pages. But the recipes are great and you have to cook them! What a wonderful dilemma to have with a cookbook! Really, you need this book. It will give you lots more joy than the money you pay for it.

This is a gorgeous book. Even without the recipes, it'd be an ideal coffee-table volume. All my friends sit in my kitchen and flip through it while I cook because the illustrations are so beautiful. Love the recipes! As half-Ecuadorian, the recipes are not nearly as popular as Peruvian food, but this book has the best of both styles. Can't wait to stock up on more chiles to try more recipes. It even has a nice little bookmark to keep track of what you're planning to make next. I appreciate, too, that she comments on which recipes are vegetarian or can be made vegan. While that's not my style, i can modify the recipes easily when friends come into town!

This is one of the most beautiful recipe books I've ever seen and makes a really great gift! Not only does it have the most beautiful, vibrant illustrations I've ever seen, but the recipes are easy to follow, and there is a section that explains all of the major tools and ingredients used in Mexican cooking, advice on how to pick the best produce, etc. This book is a true gem! I think I might get her Cuban cookbook next!
