works well with Iphone and Telescope
Astrophotography has changed a little over the past couple of years. It was extremely difficult and expensive to be able to shoot anything using your telescope. Smartphone cameras have changed that recently and has made it much more accessible without having to spend thousands on specialist cameras and mounts. This mount has made life even simpler. attach the mount to your telescope fit your smart phone camera lens over the aperture and point the telescope at the stars and with the right settings you will get great pictures. This mount is very easy to set up it has 6 Plastic screws for adjusting the position on the various sizes of lenses. all you have to do is make sure the lens is in the centre of the aperture. The plastic screws are soft so they will not scratch the body of your lens but are strong enough to keep the adapter in place. Your phone then gets attached to the adapter. the adapter has rubber covers on the ends of the phone holder so again your phone will not get scratched up. Align the correct phone lens with the telescope lens and then using night mode on Iphone get some nice shots. I have set up the adapter onto my telescope I had to remove my iPhone to get some pictures of the adapter on the telescope (only 1 digital camera the phone) As soon as we have a clear night I will shoot some sort shots and you will see how well the adapter preforms holding the phone steady. I am very happy with this adapter and can't wait to get out there on a clear night to give it a go. As an edition the adapter also comes with an extension tube so if you are using a long barlow lens you can attach the extension tube for more stability. Great adapter, Starboosa have done well here. I highly recommend this product.

Disappointed
I was hoping that this adaptor would be the 'one' which would assist in taking a couple of pics with my iphone on my telescope. It looked the part and seemed resonably well made however no use what so ever once I tried eventually giving up. It now sits in the 'messy drawer' where it will live out its life before one day being binned most probably. In fact I've now given up trying to take pics as I have a drawer half full of various adaptors which are no use.

Didn't work with my binoculars
I love bird watching and was so excited to try this attachment as I don't have a powerful enough camera phone to take pictures of all the wildlife I see when travelling, so thought this would be the next best thing. It mentions on the listing that it works with binoculars which was good because I don't have have a monocular for spotting or telescope. It arrived loose in the box with no instructions or information on the best way to use them so I spent a while trying to work out how it fits to my binoculars and my phone and trying to get the lenses lined up.The issue for me was that it doesn't really work with binoculars due to a number of factors.- I used a pixel 8 phone and the lens on my phone does not line up with the rear attachment of the phone holder (ie mount 2), so you have to basically set it at an angle and fix it in place unless your lens happens to be opposite the hole. Whilst having it on an angle isn't a major issue - you can't tighten it tight enough to stop it from moving and one tiny movement can knock it off again so you have to keep resetting it to the phone lens.- you obviously need some sort of tripod to hold everything up so you don't get the issue with it knocking out of sync as much but you can't really do this well with the binoculars.I really struggled for weeks trying to make this work with my setup but found it fiddly and not appropriate for a quick nature setup.Suggest quick release camera phone lock would be better.Overall I wouldn't recommend this for binoculars but I do hope to get hold of monocular to test this again in the future so will update my review if I find it works better with that.
