These go on just like a regular fake tattoo and show up a light grey at first. About a day later they deepen to a nice black. I had no smudging on the three I've applied. The one on my ankle is starting to fade after a week, the one on my forearm is still gorgeous, and the one on the nape of my neck is also still good except I think I must have gotten hairspray on it because there are small droplet shapes on it that are more faded than the rest. I used these as an April fools day joke on my mom. I told her I wanted to have matching fake tattoos for the family dinner and we both applied them the night before on our forearms. She was so confused when it darkened and wouldn't come off! So we fooled the family telling them we got real tattoos that were really fakes that were really semi real because they last so long. And then my mom was fooled when I explained they would last two weeks ish instead of the two days she thought they would last. It was awesome! Disclaimer: don't do this if the person you are fooling works somewhere they can't have tattoos because they seriously look real until they start to fade.

Very nice product. Got as a gift for a friend to see placement of where to get the real one some day. Doesn't smudge. Stays on up to 2 weeks.

These are fun and a great way to see if tattoos are for you. I get lots of compliments when I use them. I like to wear on my ankle area. They last pretty long, just exfoliate before applying and they will last well over two weeks. They are invisible when first applied and appear over a few hours. I put on before bed and wake up to a cute tattoo. I got the dog paw prints to honor my dogs I miss so very much. I do know permanent tattoos are not for me. These are just right, fun and can be changed all for about $10!

I was so excited for this tattoo as it advertised a better permanence than typical temporary tattoos, with elegant and intricate designs that mimic a real tattoo. Instead, I got a patchy line design that almost looks drawn on in ballpoint pen. Some areas are still the gray/tan of the initial transfer, with small patches of the design having darkened to a navy but not the deep black promised in the item description. Not only does this not look realistic as advertised, it also looks patchy and unattractive. I waited over 48 hours, and still very little of the tattoo has darkened. It's also peeling or flaking in places, which adds to the disappointment. I followed the instructions, pressed hard as advised by another review, and still had no luck. This was my second attempt from the pack I ordered. What a shame!

Easy to apply like any other temporary tattoo. It got a bit darker over time, but ultimately kind of looks like I let someone doodle on my arm with a pen. (of course I picked the pack that looks like cute doodles with a pen!) picture taken 24 hours after application.

I wanted a tattoo when my cat passed but didn’t want the pain so ordered these and love them! Wish I could find some cat only ones but several of these will work. The tattoo in the photo I’ve had for almost two weeks and is still going strong!

Just like image. Cute and small. Dark color. Good for if you are not ready to commit to a permanent tattoo. Not your typical temporary tattoos. These fade over time, which I assume that’s how they are supposed to work. So that you don’t get that weird spotting/patchy tattoo like those kid tattoos. These last longer than basic temporary tattoos. I want to say it last about a month long. I used these to give me an ideas on where I would like to place a permanent tattoo.

Last for 2 or 3 weeks at a time. They start out a lighter colour, but after a day or so they turn darker and easier to see then. Good product.
