I was thrilled to find such a good deal on these magic sachets as I couldn’t find even one in my local supermarkets . This gravy mix elevates every meal I use it with - so delicious and so easy and quick . The whole family likes it and it’s great for Christmas turkey too .

We've been buying this gravy for many years. It's unique and delicious flavour is great for roast dinners, or simple bangers and mash. Highly recommended.

Packet of Madeira Gravy, one jar of cranberries, fresh orange juice, two bottles of decent red wine, and Demerara sugar. Open the wine, put some in a glass take a drink. Make the Madeira gravy up as per the packet, when simmering empty the jar of cranberries into the gravy and stir until dissolved. Have a small sip of wine. Stir a good splosh of wine (250ml to start) into the mix, keep stirring. Have a medium sip of wine. Now add 250 ml of orange juice and keep stirring. You guessed, take a large sip of wine. Finally add the sugar .. drink more wine. The knack of this is to add the wine, orange juice and sugar to find the taste that you think is great. For me, it is the flavour of the cranberries, with the orange juice adding a citrus, the wine body and then the sugar balances the taste .. experiment though, add a bit more of something and make it sweeter, or sharper. Goes fantastically well with duck, and dark meats .. oh and then finish the wine and open the second bottle! Enjoy!

I love this gravy , my mum used to use it many years ago and both my sisters use it as the only gravy for roasts . I also think its a quick option for a rue to have with steak or similar on the side. It can be hard to get so buy while ypu can trust me its worth it and will transform your roast .

Originally bought this product more than 20 years ago as it was recommended by Gary Rhodes as a good alternative to the home made variety when you had no home made stock. It is excellent, has a very good flavour and is easy to make. We always keep plenty in stock at home.
