I cancelled my subscription to IL MAKIAGE power camo primer (similar effect for much more $$) after the first day wearing this primer!! This was better than the more expensive brand. Smoother, longer lasting, made my skin glow!! (I never write reviews but this product was that outstanding!)

I have been over, under and through the primer wars. None of the over half a dozen I've tried delivered on their dual promise: to minimize the appearance of pores and wrinkles, and to keep makeup firmly plastered to my face until I washed it off. All my previous primers did a halfway decent job as pore minimizers, but all failed utterly at keeping makeup in place all day. At best I'd get four hours of a "freshly made up" look before makeup melted away completely. The past year my go to has-been elf's poreless putty primer, which I use on most of my combo face. I use elf's matte primer on my nose and chin because those areas remain oily even at 62. Neither retains my makeup all day, but they were the best I could find (without paying a not so small fortune). I like elf's products very much, especially their cc camo cream foundation and makeup misting & setting spray, and decided to give this new liquid primer of theirs a try. My expectations weren't high. I am pleasantly gobsmacked, because *this* primer delivers beautifully on all counts! It's the primer I've wanted my whole adult life. It does a superior job of masking pores and fine lines, firstly. But far more importantly: it keeps my makeup looking great all day long! It goes on a bit thick but I have no difficulty applying & spreading with my fingers so long as I work quickly. It sets up fast too, taking no more than a minute, and provides a nice smooth even canvas for foundation or blush. I didn't notice much of an improvement in my skin's appearance with the poreless putty primer but definitely see a big improvement in skin appearance and texture with the liquid primer. It's the first primer I've found that seriously improves the appearance of my skin even without makeup. I have combo skin, and would say that this primer is very slightly on the matte side. It keeps the oil on my nose and chin at bay all day (which is epic) yet somehow softens my fine lines and subdues my pores without drying my skin. It's bloody miraculous. It's taken a lot of years and money, but I do believe I've finally found my Holy Grail of Primers!

It works as a primer but I had hoped it would neutralize the redness of my skin a bit better. I’ve used other green products that do a much better job of that.

I started using the other formula of this & wanted to compare it to this liquid version. For my aging skin, I prefer this liquid kind. I like how lightweight this is & how easy it is to use. I will definitely continue use this.

This elf poreless putty alone is better than most but if you use it with nyx filler together, it creates a flawless beautiful canvas, I'm mean blurred poreless magic. I do not know what one has but the other does but it is something fabulous!! Put elf first then nyx, I can you both and then only my powder, my skin looks gorgeous, on new years I only used this and no foundation, I got so many compliments on my skin, ladies didn't believe I was not wearing any foundations, I had to rub a napkin on my face for them to believe I was definitely not wearing foundation other then light powder "covergirl clean" BTW. I felt like I was in a wax museum display, that's how absolutely amazing my skin looked, just wow. That combo was the bomb and 6 hours when I got home, my makeup looked just like when I left, dancing and being hot too, not to mention, I did not use setting spray, my face still felt like silk. No pilling, no setting into my face lines, didn't disturb any of my makeup, only made it more beautiful. I'm 53 and was blessed with beautiful skin but that doesn't last forever and you eventually have to give into help,I do look 40 thank all but if you don't and want to look youthful, this is the magic, the perfect matt no shine, flawless answer and it is not drying, pastey, shiny or blotchy at all. It didn't even set my powder into my fine lines, unbelievable... My skin regiment Heritage rose water Ordinary hydraulic 2%+B5 Ordinary Argireline solution 10% First Botany Aloe Vera Tea Tree oil Now Shea butter just a little warmed up in hand a light light layer The best always, Ponds Clarant B3 Correcting cream You have to wait until each is absorbed fully, that's the key and around my eyes at the end I add ponds Cerma S cream because It assures your under eye concealer, doesn't look cakey or dry. I spread this to the young ones, giving them a head start on beautiful skin before they get older. I hope this helps and the Elf poreless putty works great, adding the NYX P filler with it, loves your face, even without makeup. Do not worry if you feel super moist or shiny, the primer locks in the moisture and the matte filled in look takes effect on your face and pores, it doesn't fade and lasts for me, all day and night.. It truly makes your makeup magnificent looking. With my caring moisture routine keeping my skin beautiful and younglooking, it works excellent layering your makeup, all I use does NOT clog pores so no worries. I gave 3 stars because I want to help everyone have long time beautiful skin and read. I know using the 2 primers have changed my skin when not wearing also. Magic look at the difference, my left side with both mentioned, right side with only Elf hydrating primer different product, not the the poreless putty im talking about, pretty impressive.

This is amazing stuff! I went to Michigan for a reunion in July. Can you say, hot/sticky and humid! I was worried my makeup would slide off my face immediately after applying it so I decided to try elf primer to keep my face on. I applied it and immediately felt like this was going to work. I use powder foundation and other powders products so to my delight it glided right on and stayed! Now the true test, going outside and getting into the car! Did I mention the weather was 99° and humidity was 74%?! Anyways, hotel to car ✔️ car to reunion ✔️ reunion in a tight conference room ✔️ My makeup stayed in place, didn't run down my face and stayed on through every dab of my face until I removed it myself with makeup wipes! Did it work? YES. Was it worth the price? YES. Would I buy it again? YES. I threw everything at it... stress/heat/humidity/dabbing and the only thing I had to reapply was my lipstick! Thanks elf

Ich liebe diesen Primer!! Er macht die Haut schön weich und zieht super schnell ein und hinterlässt ein tolles Hautgefühl! Meine foundation hält dadurch den ganzen Tag und alles bleibt wo es ist wenn ich es anständig noch abpudere. Top Empfehlung
