For the price we paid, I’m happy with these. We took these to Alaska on vacation because they packed easily. Used them for some shore fishing and all went well. We’ll still use them around home, if needed. They’re not the greatest quality, but for the price I paid, I’m good with that.

These are great. Not very expensive at all and you get twice as much pretty much for the price of one. The guides aren’t very good and come loose pretty easily, and the handle of one broke from just one fall. I slipped on some leaves and took a tumble. Dropped all the rods I was holding when I went down and when I picked them up this one was the only one that broke. Handle snapped right off almost at the joint where it connects to the reel. I was incredibly disappointed as I had only gotten to use it twice before that happened. But hey, it comes with two at least so I still have one functional lol. The line it comes with is fine, a little stiff but not bad at all. Casts great. Rod sections are made out of aluminum I would guess, some sort of light metal, not carbon fiber or plastic and that’s okay. I’ve hooked quite a few fish with the spoons that comes with the set of lures. Mostly baby bass, and I mean baby. They seem more attracted to the red plastic attached to the treble because a couple of the fish were smaller than the spoon itself 😂 I can only assume they honed in on the small red plastic bit and not the actual spoon. So yeah, it’s a great set for the money and I highly recommend it for anyone on a budget looking for some decent gear. You could honestly just buy this and go right out to fish, it has everything you need.

I bought these for my little boys for Christmas. They are moving away from small kid drop poles to larger fishing poles. I was drawn to the fact that they collapse and fit into a convenient case. We ride our bikes to the fishing lake near our house and this is such an easy option for them to put in their backpacks instead of carrying longer poles. I love that it comes with a tackle box as well! Very convenient fishing set.

Very nice quality rod and reel set. Very portable and easy to use. Worked great and felt great casting. Even came with a few lures.

After the pole is set up, it just ok. The reel is excellent but the pole is hard to store and break down. The top of it broke on the first trip. I would keep the reel and get rid of the pole.

If you are looking for the best portable option for your fishing needs not only is this it, but it gives you twice the fun! With two fully collapsible fishing rods with reels I don't know what more you would hope for! Except the free hooks, weights, and bait of course! It is honestly a great package and I would recommend it.

Used for less than 3 months. BOTH BROKE!! I used both fishing rods for less than 3 months, we take great care of our rods, always keep them in the case and clean them. One the reel handle broke off mid use i couldn't even reel my line back in and the other one the bail broke off and we couldn't use it anymore. DONT BUY
