Mercedes Benz S-LK 05-11 Halogen Headlight Pair

I loved the price compared to what Mercedes and others charge for these things. They fit and they work and I am a happy customer.

Made by 2008 Benz look like a brand new one. Had installed about 4 months ago and still works great and looks great.Update: 1.5 years after purchase and installation. You have to take the entire bumper off my car to install and they looked great for about a year. I washed and polished my car last week and noticed the passenger light had a wasp inside the light. It was suppose to be a sealed system. I got to looking and there is also black spots of mold or mildew all in the inside of the light. See pictures. There is nothing I can do at this point but wait until it gets bad enough to replace again. Maybe I will get a little more use out of it. The drivers side light seems still in great shape. :(

After seeing Amazon's confirmation that these lights "fit your car", I bought them. But during installation, when I saw they were malfunctioning, I researched potential glitches/fixes and learned that some SLKs are wired for Halogens and some are wired for Xenon HID -- and apparently there are major differences in power and function. Worse yet, the headlights arrived during my busy season at work so I didn't have a chance to install them until more than 30 days later, and the seller refused to refund my return, citing the "30 days" limit on returns. Nice. Very disappointed that nothing in the product post mentions anything about compatibility beyond merely that the lights physically fit the body. Don't know if the blame falls with Amazon or the seller, but simply posting that a replacement headlight "fits your car" gives the buyer the expectation that the product is a true match for the car. This is why I gave two stars -- these lights might well work on cars wired for Halogens, but I'm stuck with a product that won't work in my car.

Connections not good

so far they seem to be good have had trouble with the left side low beam, not sure if its a installation problem or wiring or a bad socket.,If you need light they were rather reasonable compared to the most, just hope i don't pay for cheap at a later date.

Head Lights worked and looked great. Arrived quickly

Imagine taking off your bumper and old headlights...only to find out one of these headlights is defective!!!!!!!!!!! My head is about to explode. Do not buy these from this company! They are cheap because they are junk!!!!!!!!
