Apples to Apples - On The Go

When I first heard about this game I was thinking that it would be a boring one as there didnt seem much to it. However, we had a group of about 10 playing and it was hysterical and SO much fun!! Everyone loved it, even the guys who hate to play games! We were sorry to see it end and had so many laughs! I've played the party box and that has many more cards. If you go through the ones in this game, you are done. I hope they have new cards only that you can buy and add (dont know if they do or not-haven't looked). But, this is easy to transport. I also wish that there could be a version for less people required to play. I dont always have that many people that can get together and play, unfortunately ! We played with adults and children and it was a blast for all!!

We already had the full version of this game, and wanted the smaller "travel" version for visiting family. We love this game. Its easy for a mixed crowd, and adaptable to large or small groups. It works better for older kids and adults, in my opinion, but its still ok to play around little ones. I like the fact that it doesn't have small pieces to lose. The cards are easy to handle and keep track of in a large group.

Let me start by saying that I LOVE the Apples to Apples game. It is quick and simple, fun for children, family, and adults. However, I bought this "To Go" game with hopes of bringing in on an international trip. While this game is smaller than the original and packed in a more efficient way, it is WAY too big to be considered a travel game. It would be okay for a car or camping trip perhaps, but not for a plane trip vacation. In terms of a game, WONDERFUL. In terms of a game to bring while traveling, this misses the mark.

Perfect game for kids. Fun, fast play and easy to learn. I use this for my groups as a school counselor to help kids learn social skills and communication skills. Love that there is a "judge" who picks the best card representing the word/topic. Really encourages kids to think - sometimes creatively - and express why they chose the card they did. Love it!!!

We recently purchased a vacation place and needed to stock it with board games. This Apples to Apples had been recommend by a friend so we added it to our collection of games. Since then we have played it several times with family and friends who have joined us at our retreat. Everyone has thoroughly enjoyed playing this fun game. It's a hoot!

I move every few years and this game comes with me. I've played it with friends and used it in my advanced English courses. It's less of a game for them (as they don't know many of the references), but it's a fabulous way to build their pop cultural vocabulary and knowledge.

It was very disappointing to realize that it had so few cards! I wanted the whole game just not the wooden box and that's why I ordered just the cards.

The game is fun. I bought this as a travel version. It consists of a box, with three stacks of cards set inside a plastic molding. The plastic molding has lots of dead space. if this is a travel version, why don't they get rid of that dead space and make it as small as possible? Just completely stupid. If I'd been in a store and able to open the box, I wouldn' t buy it and I don't recommed anyone bother buying it for themselves. Suggest you just take your normal Apples to APples version of the game and look for a box that that fits the stack of cards. Or stick the cards in a rubber band and put it in a zip lock bag.

Arrived on time, no damage... as you would/should expect something to be delivered.

Its pretty PG, specially after I've played Cards Against Humanity. There isnt much combination possibilites and we got bored fast. Wouldnt recommend.
