Toddler Safety Scissors, 3-Pack Kids Scissors with 60 Craft Paper Sheets

Nice little scissor set, very giftable if you have a little one in your life. Comes with 3 different colored scissors, which is nice for siblings, and cards with cute pictures to be cut. The scissors cut the paper really well despite being not at all sharp, but they don't cut thicker paper as cleanly or as easily. They work well with construction paper but heavier cardstock is a little challenging (though not as challenging as I expected). The pictures vary in difficulty. This way the child can improve their cutting skills by starting with simpler designs and progressing to slightly more detailed pictures. I got this set for my 4 year old nephew who is 5 now and still uses it. Helps with getting ready for kindergarten. It's nicer in a way than activity books, because at the end he has little treasures that he's cut out rather than a book full of paper scraps. And the pictures can be hung on the fridge without taking up too much room.

This is an excellent set for our two year-old grandson who is obsessed with scissors, but not yet ready for the real thing. The practice pages caught his interest right away and we spent an hour learning how to cut and follow the lines around the fire truck, bus, and pickup truck with LOTS more papers to use again later. Predictably, as soon as I had my head turned he tried to cut the carpet, his shorts, and a pillow that were next to him. True to advertising, the scissors would NOT cut anything other than paper and cardstock. After he'd left the room I tried it on hair, which they also say it won't cut, as that is what his mother did as a child. It does NOT cut hair either - OR skin. Totally safe, brilliant colors, and a fun educational kit to build coordination skills for cutting. Highly recommend!

Got this for homeschool for my daughter teacher how to cut it’s great but they are safety scissors so not the best quality. Also, some of the pictures are way too advanced.

These are a little too safe - they will in no way cut your child but they also don't cut paper unless you hold it juuuuuuuuust right. So a great way to start their journey with scissors with no fear of injury, but they will graduate quickly if they want to actually cut anything other than perfectly crisp paper when held at the correct angle.

I have a 3-year-old who loves cutting paper, and this was a brilliant idea—he isn't at risk with scissors, and he has creative drawings to cut out and learn from at the same time. So, I highly recommend it.

Perfect for teaching scissors to 2-3 year old. They only cut paper. My now 3 year old enjoys them. We haven’t done the cutting pages that come yet as I want him to get more used to the scissors but he likes to use them with construction paper.

Really does only cut paper! I tested them on clothing and a small piece of my hair just incase. Even though they are dull they still cut the paper easily. My 2 year old is having a ball with these!

I understand these are safety scissors, but you ideally have to apply force inward when cutting to cut and not just bend the paper. So it's very hard for me to try to teach my child to use these and actually cut the paper. Otherwise cute and he likes the paper that came with it
