I really struggled to decide what I wanted in my new carryon! There are so many improvements nowadays. I was really tempted by the new wide handles, but I knew I needed to be able to strap on my puppy carrier and they aren't made for the wide handles yet. :( At least mine wasn't) So.... This one seemed to check off my other wants. Charge port with USB-C, cupholder (although I was skeptical about its durability), extra hooks for bags and stuff. But really what I was after was the trunk style!I had just returned from 10 days traveling to Ireland and Scotland (6 flights!) and was about to embark on 6 more flights stateside to visit kids. It was time to upgrade and this suitcase did not disappoint! My husband was rather annoyed that I didn't want to check my bag. Why have to "lug it around" he said. Well, there was no lugging with this! The wheels rolled so smoothly. My husband commented several times what a smooth 'ride' it was. And he kept taking from me! In fact, he wanted to hang HIS bag on it all the time. And I'm pretty sure he bought me the oversized water on purpose so he could use the cupholder for his coffee!After having to flop open my traditional suitcase on the floor to access anything, being able to simply set this carry on on the dresser and lift the "lid" was so nice! I was able to pack 7 days of clothes and two pairs of shoes, a jacket and my toiletry bag comfortably. No need for expansion! (Which they won't allow a carryon to be expanded anyway.) Even fully packed it wasn't so heavy I couldn't lift it one handed. And in 6 flights, mine was the only buttery yellow that I saw, you couldn't miss it.So you attach a portable battery pack in a small pocket inside the suitcase to use the external ports. Which is fine, just make sure it is fully charged. However, the very last flight (1 in 6!) demanded that I remove the battery at the gate when they were going to put it under the plane. Annoying. However! I was able to get right to it in under 60 seconds because it was so easy to lift the lid and get to it! And I didn't have to take up a bunch of floor space at the gate and expose my entire contents either.This carryon is a keeper. The wheels and handle feel sturdy and smooth. It's a pretty color: cheery but not obnoxious. I can spot it a mile away amongst the sea of suitcases. It was strong enough to support my husband's carry on while rolling. I still feel that the cupholder is the weakest thing on it, but it still functions smoothly, neatly and did it's job. I didn't have to hunt for or share a charging station at the airport. I am happy with this case and am considering getting the full size to check for bigger trips!

This suitcase is awesome! I’ve only used it got 1 trip so can’t comment on durability yet.I love the top-load style, much easier to pack and make better use of space.I fit a full sized keyboard tucked into the side, that would not have worked in a 50/50 set up.Held clothes for 4 nights, CPAP, shoes, snacks, keyboard, and more.The charger ports works as expected and there’s a nice sized pocket inside for your battery pack.Handle is sturdy, comfortable.Rolls nice.The cup holder was very handy.Hooks/device holder are not necessary but can be handy to hang a small item or whatever.Unfortunately, it did not fit in the overhead bin on a small Air Canada plane, it was about a half inch too thick to slide in. Huge hassle since I was boarding in the middle of the pack and discovering I had to gate check blocked traffic in the aisle.

Very good. The only critical point is that the handle is very big and chunky so it is hard (or impossible) to slip a carry-on bag over it - the kind of carry-on bag that has a slot, strap or a pocket for a roller-bag handle.

I LOVE this bag! Packing this bag was a breeze! I love that it has one deep compartment rather than the clam shell opening to fill two separate sides. I easily fit everything in it. I’m packing for a week to an island beach location so pretty easy to pack a capsule wardrobe, not much big and bulky on this trip. I’m traveling on American and had no problem with the size for a carry on. I found a lightweight charger to put in the case to charge my phone when I need it. I love the cup holder, that’s the bomb. The wheels are very smooth rolling. They worked well on carpet on our hotel and it flew on the tile at the airport. I just boarded my flight and it fits great in the luggage holder above my seat. I will try and add some more photos of it so you can see real photos of the product. The one currently attached shows how nicely it works overhead. Update: just coming home from a week long vacation and this bag has traveled like a dream. Had to pull on some gravel and rougher in paved roads and it handles well. Everyone loves the cup holder and I’m currently charging my phone while I update my review. I definitely recommend this bag. One of my favorite purchases I have made :)
